Quang Minh Buddhist Temple reviews
31All Buddhism ceremonies are organised here. Vegetarian food are sold Fri, Sat (before 12), Sun and 30,1,14,15 (lunar calendar)
Nice temple with small food store every sunday. Recommend to try “sâm bổ lượng” (a dessert). People here is very kind and friendly
A very peaceful and beautiful Buddhist temple located away from the busy crowd of Melbourne. The moment you go there you can feel that incredible peace inside you. The surrounding and the set up of the temple will have your mind at peace. Coming from a Asian background I could relate the cultural resemblance. Not too crowded during weekdays but heard it’s busy during weekends. Seems like they have small food stalls as well. Plenty of parking if it’s not crowded.
Loved it. Very friendly everybody. A good place to pray but also delicious traditional food
The scene is airy and dignified with many beautiful pictures, and the volunteer Buddhists are serious and sociable in their activities.
Peace and serenity. You'll learn a lot of things from there but they need to be more western friendly.
This is one of the most popular temple in Melbourne. It is magnificent with modern design located in the west of Melbourne.
Wonderful place. Tranquil, beautiful, and the vegetarian food market on Sunday mornings is great - there's a mess hall where you can sit down for a hot meal, and a few stalls where you can buy cheap takeaway vegetarian meals, fresh sugar cane juice as well as fresh fruit & veg.
Passed by on a weekday, had to have a look. Serene place, with community facilities, not just a temple.
First time here but the place is very big, you pray not in one place but they put the statue separately. Free incent for pry
It was a welcoming experience to visit this temple and enjoy a chat over lunch. We sat in the grounds for a few hours, feeling a great energy.
I attended this Buddhist Temple often. It's a peaceful place and the Quang Minh Monk, with the staff are pleasant.
The Best and The Greatest Vietnamese Buddhist Temple in the West. It is not only the place where you and family go to pray or blessings. It is a spiritual, ritual and ceremony from times to times with Buddha blessings. NAMO AMITABHA BUDDA
A peaceful place with beautiful view lookouts on Saturday.
Every Sunday from 10am to 1pm, they sell delicious foods (home made by volunteers) vegetables, drinks, charm and accessories handmade with affordable price however cash only no card.
They also have special meal dish/ bowl every Sunday. Eg: Veterinarian Pho for this Sunday, next Sunday will be Veterinarian spicy beef noodle, etc.
Please wear mask, register and stay safe
I loved it there it was a lovely day enjoyed my whole time looking around the gardens in the temple and by my food thank you
A really peaceful place to be and the surrounding gardens look very beautiful. People are really friendly and show you around even if they have limited English.
This is one of Melbourne’s. Eat Buddhist temples. The staff attending the temple is super friendly and courteous, there are some great scenic spots at the location and the food they are selling is really delicious.
Highly recommend anyone living in Melbourne to pay this temple a visit. Probably around lunch time is the best time to come.
Visit once and participated in prayers, although we didn’t understand a word as it was not in English. Ushers were very welcoming. Peaceful atmosphere. Love to go again.
Beautiful place to see the lunar new year, this is my second year on a row. Plenty of food, beverages and entertainment
Great place to visit on the weekends or for special festivals. There is a little market that operates on certain days and has a variety of vegetarian food. There are chanting sessions and lots of events. It helps if you know some vietnamese but if you only know English, that's fine too.
