Quality Inn Swan Hill reviews
7 Iv stayed in many different places in Swan Hill and this is one of the best by far!
Mike was excellent.
Wouldn’t stay anywhere else from now on!
Close to town (2 mins walk). The room was amazing, very clean and well appointed.
Free Foxtel, WiFi and there is a minibar.
The beds are amazing and the grounds are clean and tidy.
New Owners and the new manager is as nice as ever and polite.
Pool was clean and breakfast (eggs) hit the spot before a long travel.
We plan on staying on our return.
Stayed 2 nights for Work. Initial contact was excellent. Spoke with Mike as my day would finish late. He reassured me that check in wouldn’t be a problem. Rooms were spacious, well appointed, mini bar, hot showers and very clean. Another big tick was off street parking for my Work. I was relaxed to know the vehicle was secure. Well Done
Fantastic place to stay. First time in Swan Hill for work. Really comfy bed and well kitted out room, although lighting could be a bit more selective and better controlled. Nice mini bar, though pricey. Swimming pool is fun, but freezing, though you get used to it. Nice outdoor BBQ area there, too. Very friendly service. In-room breakfast is OK. Great TV selections! Not too loud for the main strip and close to shops and food. Water pressure of my shower was weak - had to turn the hot water on full bore.
Great location, comfortable and clean rooms. Easy parking and nice pool and garden area. Overall very pleased with our stay
Had a good sleep, warm beds and effective heating and cooling. Friendly staff and very abliging when I left something behind.
Pretty ordinary experience.
I didn’t actually stay here in the end, but I accidentally booked the wrong date for my accommodation (totally my fault) and had booked in 2 nights before I was due to stay.
I realised on the drive up and called the Inn advising them of what had occurred and the owner Rhonda understood what had occurred and advised they would prepare the room
For the night I intended to stay.
I didn’t actually discuss the payment situation. But upon arriving I spoke with her husband who was extremely rude. I asked if it was possible that I could get a transfer of my booked dates or discounted rate because I didn’t actually stay.
He was adamant that my contract was with the booking agency and they had no responsibility to me as far as a discount or transfer was concerned. (I understood that they didn’t have any legal duty to provide me assistance).
So I basically I said ok I guess I’ll go somewhere cheaper (due to the fact that I was on a work trip and my employer would be upset if I paid the expensive $175 for the night again) …
Which he then tried to tell me that he could charge me for another night because supposedly my call earlier explaining the situation was interpreted as another booking!
Eventually he said he would cancel that reservation without charging me, trying to imply he was doing a nice favour.
What I can’t wrap my head around I suppose is that. 1. The inn was very quiet with barely any guests. 2. It is a smallish country town and I was willing to pay again at a discounted
rate for no extra work for them. 3. I probably would have given a good review for their understanding of my situation.
As it turns out the owners were not interested in helping in any way and were determined to make like difficult for me rather than earn themselves some good reviews and do a nice favour.
As mentioned they were within their rights… just wasn’t good moral or business acumen.
