Lights flicker before eventually lighting up. The ventilation system can't heat up the whole room. However, there is a lot of vegetation around the area which is great to see at dawn and dusk.

Reasonable place to stay for few nights. Washbasin in inside the room instead of inside the toilet which is the bit I don’t like. Good place to stay for a night or two

Neat and tidy, good sound proofing and a comfortable bed in a good sized room. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the pool area, although a little dated. Very comfy place to stay.

First time staying here for work. Really friendly staff and the rooms are nice and comfy. Quiet during my stay, good for getting work done. Small swimming pool, but fun and warm. Spa wasn't working at the time. Sauna looked nice, but I didn't use it. Very generous breakfast portions! TV was ok, but couldn't get anything channel 9. Easy location just out of the main part of town. The restaurant was closed, unfortunately, staff shortages plaguing lots of industries. Will definitely look to stay here again. Easy parking inside.

Beautifully renovated room. No room servicing due to staff shortages etc (totally acceptable - tea & coffee etc was replenished). Very quiet. Recommended.

Lana on Reception was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. She was concerned when we called and Uber and they cancelled and even offered us a lift if we got stuck. Very pleasant and enjoyable stay. Keep up the great work and service Lana.

Spent 2 nights at the motel and it was fantastic. Room was spacious, sheets were clean, extra pillows and blankets on offer in the cupboard, air conditioner, fridge a microwave all in the room.
Bathroom was nice and tidy as well with a good shower, was even offered housekeeping in our second day asking if we needed any extra items for the room and friendly staff in the reception.
Would visit again if coming to Bendigo!

We stayed here for a few days and our stay was great! Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the indoor heated pool and free netflix! If you have kids, and need entertainment during your stay, this is definitely a great place. Our room was also comfortable and clean and the staff was great and attended to all our needs on instant. Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed here over the weekend, and it was a perfect stay, staff were extremely friendly, room was very clean and it was nice a quiet. It was close enough to everything as well. My kids loved the pool.

Spacious and clean room, friendly staff that looked after me when I had booked on the wrong date. Free netflix kept the kids entertained. Heated indoor pool was nice too. I'd stay here again next time I'm passing though. Thanks Colonial.

They are the best that Bendigo has for the price. They're great. I'm from the US and this is the only place I will stay when I come to Bendigo every year. They have a nice indoor pool, clean rooms and go above and beyond to make you comfortable!

The room was very spacious and the double shower was a bonus. The check in and check out process was very quick and easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Pros - Comfy clean beds & free Netflix.
Cons - I stayed in the Disabled room, VERY disappointed with the shower area. The floor has a great big depression and although there are rails I was given a white plastic garden chair to sit on!
The indoor pool was the main reason we booked there. The signs said it was open till 9.30 however at 8.30 it was locked, when we called the reception they said the signs were old amd the pool closes when the reception does! After much pleading he did open the pool although he wasn't happy!
Doubt we'll stay there again
