QUALITY CUT HALAL MEATS

Stay away at all costs. They sold us rotten chicken. We had to throw a bag away as some of it was mushy to touch. We cooked the other bag which looked fine but it stank up our entire house. None of it was healthy or safe to eat.
I have reported this business to the Food Safety Unit VIC.

One chicken we bought already looked terrible, the others looked fine so we cooked it. But it actually smells disgusting when cooking.
Update: they were very nice about it and gave us a refund though

I seriously don't understand what's going on with the reviews of this place. Have we just been lucky? I avoid their sister butcher in Merrifield which is way closer to me just to buy meat here. I haven't once had off chicken and their casserole pieces are well balanced. Chicken mini diced and beef mince are the other things I regularly buy. Service is fine under the circumstances of a busy shopping centre. I don't go to a butcher to make friends. I go to get good meat. Maybe I've just been lucky?

This is the second time I gave this business a chance but again I was sold spoiled meat!

I rinsed the beef only 30 minutes after buying it and it was clear how spoiled it was, horrible light pink and brown colour and the smell was like rotten fish.

Disgraceful service too.

Please stay away from this place, Bought a Chicken, Open it, Cook it, aaahhhh Bad smell wasted money, Time, Gas.

Brought some thighs, just pulled them out to make soup and it stinks. Had to throw $18 worth in the bin. Very disappointed.

Contrary to other reviews, my experience has been good. Then again, I only buy lamb shoulder and maybe chicken breast from there. Decent quality.

Spend $40 a kilo on lamb cutlets today which were chewing as and not eatable at all gave them to my dog never again disgusting stay away guys!

Bought goat leg and it turned out to be lamb leg. Also, one of the leg was so dark turning old. Very disappointed.

Dodgy place that sells meat stock close to expiry.
Beware of buying any chicken related meats.

Be careful of cheap chicken breast or drumsticks as they get used as a bait to buy much more expensive meat.also found meat of poor quality

Service is ok. I bought chicken wings today. When i came home, I opened the bag and almost passed out. It was repulsive. So i took it back, got my refund. Not going there again.
Please do yourselves and the community a favour and sell fresh chicken. Up your prices but sell fresh. The stench it comes with is deadly.

Very disappointed that when I bought lamb shanks today, the worker that cuts them in half doesn't wear gloves

Just called them to ask about availabilty of mince given it's a PH and i need it for school program tomorrow.very young voice answered the mobile number advertised on all the companies platforms.no sorry wrong number he said. Hmmm.after reading the reviews, glad to say I'm never going to shop there!

These people have jumped the price 3 folds due to Convid19. And when asked she smirked and said why not.

Bought chicken drumstick and chicken thigh fillet, when opened bag at home there was just chicken drumstick. Call on the number advertised in the companies platforms.no sorry wrong number he said. What a bad customer service.

I have bought meat off and on from this place for a number of years now. I have found them to be very competitive in terms of quality and price. The service is friendly and courteous and the staff will go the extra mile to ensure that customers are satisfied. I recommend this butchery.

Ordered 25kg of halal sausages for a community bbq. The owner gave me a discount per kg $8.50 instead of $9.99. Still pricey!

The sausages were the oilest we have ever cooked (done 6 community bbqs to date - first time ordering from this butcher). They were soo bad the skin would break as soon as they got hot and then they would just ooze oil. It was disgusting to cook, look at and eat.
I have never experienced this in my life. The sausages were all uneven sizes to begin with and then shrivel to tiny pieces. We were needing to put two sausages per customer to make it look somewhat normal. Never, will i ever buy meat from this butcher again.
