Q.P.O. Cafe, Bar, Restaurant & Events / POSTMASTER HOTEL reviews
81Love this place! Great place to have a beer and some good food outdoors. But take away pizzas we ordered last night were very poor quality. They were tasteless and not enjoyable at all. Please do something about it since I want to keep coming to your great place.
Great place. Wonderful food. Fantastic staff. Steve is a fantastic host, and really has a great venue. Thank you.
Great place.
Too good and yummy foods
We have some coffee, ice-chocolate, hot chocolate, very crispy hot chips/ potato wedges, and nice cakes.
I just wanted to say what a wonderful time we had last night and the service and food was excellent. We came as a family of 4 for an early dinner.
We especially were very impressed with the guy who served us I can’t remember his name (the bar manager I think?) he was so lovely to us and looked after us very well.
We will definitely be back!
Atmosphere was great. Staff friendly and interacted well with the kids. Willing to make minor adjustments to the menu. Food was prepared quickly and tasted delicious. Prices were reasonable. Toilet access could be challenging (they are downstairs) for mobility impared people.
Service was great and food was quite tasty however all of the meals really could have used veggies. Steaks only came with mash or chips and the beef spare rib only came with mash. Made for quite a heavy meal. Parma came with a "salad" but that was just lettuce with some sort of creamy sauce which again made the meal quite heavy. Desserts were delicious though!
Whenever we need to eat out in Kew, we will always choose Postmaster Hotel. We just feel very comfortable dining there and the food is always consistently delicious.
We had a lovely dinner to celebrate a family member's birthday. The serves were reasonable portions and the potato wedges were really really good. The lamb pizza was excellent and the croquettes was very well made. Thumbs up.
Quality food with even better service, Nick, Will, Alex, Soph and Oscar made sure all our needs were met with some extra service we couldn’t say no to
Very relaxed atmosphere. Food was very good and was reasonably priced. Perfect for a casual fam dinner or catch up with friends.
Service was great. My steak sandwich was warm on the outside, cold stone on the inside. Tough as old boots. Clearly not cooked freshly.
Thursday night quite busy.
Had the Parma. Chips with mushroom sauce was terrific. Very nice. Good service. I would definately go again.
Food is great really good but extremely annoyed by the service. I rang 2 days prior made a booking to request a table near the window.but was told on the phone that they couldn't reserve but it should be fine as Wednesday not busy. We arrive on time and there is a table free for 2 by the window but then get told that the Manager that table is reserved? Given a table smack bang in middle of room. Like I said food is fantastic but don't tell customers you can't reserve a table and then tell them that they can't have a table because it's reserved.
Very nice upgrades, very professional staff. Good for a family do or just a catch up over coffee
Postmaster Hotel was excellent. We had drinks and sharing plates for about 25 people in own area. Staff were terrific and very efficient. Absolutely perfect place and kitchen open all day as our function was at 4pm. Would highly recommend. Thanks to Tony and staff.
Came here for Sunday brunch. Ordered using a website which was pretty simple. Food came out in good time. The Postmaster breakfast was a good size and the food was cooked good. My wife enjoyed her Cesar salad with grilled chicken (extra $6) though the croutons were disappointing, just hard bits of dried bread and not actual fried croutons. A side of avocado was $6 for around a quarter of an actual avocado, and it was bordering on black (over ripe).
Cool pub. Just dropped in for a nightcap on way home so didn’t stay long but the old fashioned I ordered was excellent and the staff were great
Fabulous meal and staff last night. We did a walk up and we were given a great table. I had the linguine marinara which was one of the best I've had. My husband had the beef burger which he said was delicious. We shared the corn jaleapino fritters to start which were also tasty.
Would thoroughly recommend.
Great Chicken Parma, Friendly Staff & The Beer Garden is sick! Would highly recommend for a couple of drinks and dinner.
Triple A location.
Liking the new name, set up and vibes.
Small but substantial good modern pub menu.
Liguinie Carbonara was okay, pity, their signature Postmaster's Beef Burger was just too salty.
