Poor customer service skills. Unless you book with them, they don’t treat you the same.

We asked to be moved to a different table because the window was opened and blowing at us and the door was constantly opened in and out. We were also seated at a high traffic area, where people were constantly walking back and forth next to the kitchen.

They tried lying and told us that they had no more seats at the back left. Which I would not recommend doing, if I am seated at the front and able to hear your conversation with your customers.

Customers who walked in after us, who did not have a booking, was also seated at the back.

How disappointing and honestly, the way all the waitresses spoke to me, was very disrespectful. I would not recommend coming back here again. Whether the food is good or not, the service is not worth it.

3 stars for service. Food average and poor presentation. Improvement could definitely be made to the restaurant in terms of cleanliness, it almost had a grotty feel to it.

Nothing to rave about, food is okay. Took 1hr and 50minutes to get a serve of 3 pieces of chicken and some chips. Quite a few tables around were frustrated and expressed their disappointment.

I ordered from Uber eats an burnt end fries and it literally had 3 pieces of brisket on it. And I paid extra for the larger portions size as well. Very disappointing never ordering from here again

WHY DIDN'T I TRT Q-BBQ BEFORE loved the food, staff and service and the dining area inside and outside (the backyard garden area)

The short rib platter has a selection of great tasting meats, salad, chips and sauces. The highlight is the short rib which had fallen off the bone and was tender.

I was excited to try out Q today. I think they’ve done a great job making the place inviting and fun. The menu is pretty comprehensive and the draft beer on tap was delicious. We had the chicken (yum), the beef ribs (pretty good) and the brisket (average but still ok). Overall it was a yummy and filling meal and I’d eat there again if I was in the neighbourhood.

Came here for dinner for the first time (Thursday night) with my wife and son. Great food! The $20 potaco deals are great value for money, I think! The staff were friendly and accommodating. Didn't wait long for the food. The back outdoor area is well heated for a cold night. Looking forward to coming back and trying other things on the menu.

The best brisket this side of town, and the Potacos are a filling yet cheap treat. Staff are super friendly, and the smash burgers are the best I'm aware of in the area. Definitely can recommend to others:)

Really wanted to love this place. We got a large family platter. You can tell the meat is high quality and cooked well.

We added on a rib, which was cooked ok but didn’t have a lot of flavour.

The sides here were the biggest let down. Onion rings and fries were fine.

The mac and cheese was terrible. It was over cooked, it had a powdery taste snd didn’t taste like cheese at all. They were using not elbow pasta which had a huge effect on the taste.

The coleslaw was just some house chopped salad with a store brought coleslaw dressing.

If they improve their sides then this place would definitely have a much higher rating.

Fair price on the smaller meals, the larger share boards are a tad over price for what their worth, I found the meat was a tad dry, but over all not to bad. The service was pretty poor,

Big disappointment!
We ordered take away ($160) and got old chips and shriveled, dry rack of pork ribs.
We never had this kind of bad experience when we eat-in.
I’ll go to Big pig & little pig in Morrabbin to get a sure quality of meat next time!

Usually good at lunchtime, dinner is a different story. Extra meat ordered was on someone else's plate without telling anyone, when asked about they shrugged and said sorry. Also, the chicken wing was cold and raw in the middle.didn't even bother to tell them.

Fantastic food, good service and surprisingly spacious in the rear outdoor area. Great for groups.

I will be back! First time eating here and I will be back. If you're after fancy decor and white tablecloth, you will be disappointed but if you're after great food and cheeky craft beers, the this place will satisfy. Honest and friendly service just adds to feeling good when you leave.

Platter serving was good for 3 people.
Sauces were amazing, meats were tender & moist. Corn ribs were not so good. Was too dry. Salad serves would be great if it was a bit larger.

Overall a pleasant experience. When you enter you’re hit by the smell of wood and smoke, unfortunately that intensity wasn’t translated to the meat. Barely tasted that real smoked bbq taste. Got the potacos and sharing board for 2. Brisket Potaco’s were some of the best things I’ve put in my mouth! The chips are excellent, sound the salad portion tiny. The brisket was amazing, super juicy and tender. Sausages were also yum. But we found the other meats really unimpressive… burnt ends were dry and no Smokey flavour at all. Would come back for just the brisket! Service was lovely too

Good, not great, not the quickest in turnaround, but the flavour explains a lot.

Gave it 2 goes, was okay but just bland in general. Have tried numerous menu items but unfortunately was underwhelming.
