Purton Road Opportunity Shop reviews
21 It has everything even a kitchen sink. If not Angel & her hubby might be able to resource one for you. There prices are very low, sometimes she has SHOP FREE at times. No other charity store does that.
They do amazing charity work even donating new clothing items for BABIES at the neo natal section Monash Clayton.
Ive known them since they first opened, Angel is an she never rests she is always doing something for someone in need.
If it's not for the shop, it's for family or friends. Even though she is not well herself, her hubby is amazing & so supportive when she will let him. Lol. Well deserved.
Items are clean and well presented. Donations are awesome. Prices realistic. Staff are friendly.
Expectional quality Preloved items. Definitely not a run of the mill opshop. Everything is so organised, beautifully displayed & you can tell & see how much care & attention the volunteers take.
10/10 Well worth a visit
A diamond in the rough. Wonderful store for everyone. Well maintained and run. The guy behind the counter was so helpful. Will be back with the family soon.
This shop is a gem. Well stocked, everything in pristine clean condition, very reasonable pricing and the staff are so nice. Highly recommend.
Welcoming & friendly staff. Great baby clothes and blankets. So much variety, awesome prices
Good variety but half the items are missing price stickers so it's frustrating to ask for each time. Just wish they would price everything or put signs up so we know without having to ask.
Once I actually found it I was pleasantly surprised by how much was inside Pakenham's hidden gem. Parking out the front and very reasonable pricing and very kind ans friendly staff. Plenty of women's and men's clothing, homewears, shoes and room full of kids and baby's clothing and another full of toys. Take your time and grab a basket was greatful to have my goodies bagged up at checkout to. Definitely coming back ️
A lovely little op shop.plenty of items new & used to choose from.the people that volunteer there are wonderful.will definetly be going back
This Is a place you can go and pick up some really nice items for less the price of new. Angel is lovely to talk to and very friendly staff members
What can l say thus place is amazing, love it everytime l go. My grandaughter was excited and loved buying some toys.
My favourite op shop in the area. Excellent prices, huge collection and the lady who runs it is lovely. She always makes you feel very welcome.
Best opportunity shop with very friendly staff which actively support the community and people with needs
Clean and tidy OP Shop with great prices and friendly service. Very cosy feel to it with lots of hidden treasures.
Some great bargains and lots to look at. Location is hard to find unless you know where it is. Worth a visit.
Highly overpriced and could be heard negatively discussing customers after they had left, including discussing overcharging them. When you charge triple what the 'posh' op shops do and are priced above ebay and seem to hate on everyone, it might be worth re-evaluating if this is something you wish to continue doing.
Was there yesterday and walked out without making a purchase as I was disgusted especially after seeing a 7 dollar sticker on a fake prada mini purse.
Was very excited to have found this new op shop in the area, especially as I was promised 'old school pricing.
I am struggling to find a reason to return, and don't recommend anyone else goes either.
The lady who works there is so friendly and welcoming. The op shop is beautifully organised and tidy. It's cheap with plenty of parking. And having a chat with random people and the shopkeeper is common place. Highly recommended.
Have visited this op shop a few times and mostly been happy with the service received. However, recently we donated some items and were greeted by some sarcastic and unkind comments by the volunteers. They looked at us as we came in the door and responded "oh, yay (!), didn't seem impressed that we were bringing items in, followed by a very unenthusiastic and again sarcastic thank you. Left me feeling disappointed as the lady who runs the op shop is always very friendly and helpful when she is there upon visits.
ETA: The lady who manages the Opportunity Shop has kindly contacted me directly, and apologised for the issues.
These people are the angels of the world, there op shop is amazing, always grab a bargain, have a chat.
