Thank you to the lovely reception desk guy last night. The room was beautiful, clean, and perfectly located.

Melbourne have declared risk flood from 15 Oct 2022, and it may prolong for weeks. This information are shared by Metereology Bureau and trusted news. Because of this reason, I have to cancel my trip for safety reason and this is force majeure. However the facility refuse to cancel and refund my booking and use standard policy and keep insist the bad weather forecast situation not applicable to their location. Its bad experience to deal with the accomodation and still charge under this circumstances.

The accommodation is meagre at best but the location is fantastic. The bed is really comfortable and the rain head shower is a plus. We were in a room on the first floor and the possums were outside the balcony which was fantastic if you want a great Melbourne experience then this is for you

Oh dear. Where to start? The location is fantastic. It's close to Toorak Rd and Chapel St and public transport. Unfortunately that's where the positives stop.

Let's start with the cleanliness of the room. It was obvious it hadn't been deep cleaned in a very long time which is worrying in these COVID times. There was dust on the window sills. Dust on the mirror sills. I even found used chopsticks underneath the bed. What was I doing looking beneath the bed?

When I pay for a double/queen room I expect a double/queen bed. I don't expect two single beds pushed together and held together by a cheap mattress topper which kept slipping off and causing the beds to come apart. Not great even you you're a single traveller. Which I wasn't.

Now for the bathroom amenities. Cheap. Cheap. Cheap. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash are in dispensers in the shower cubicle. The body wash was empty and dispensers themselves were coming off the wall. The cubicle itself was a mess. Dirty, cracked tiles, with dirty, black grouting. The paint on the walls and ceiling is cracked and peeling.

And the place is infested with ants. They're everywhere.

Unfortunately there is no one on site after a certain hour so we were forced to endure the room. Definitely not worth the money they are charging. And definitely look nothing like the photos on their website.

I do not recommend this place at all.

Outstanding service, great water pressure and WiFi. No complaints here, will stay again and highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant location with tram 58 and South Yarra train station 1 minute walk away. Very quiet and peaceful despite the central location 50 metres off Toorak Rd. The one bedroom apartment was spacious with a full kitchen and lounge room. Ground floor apartments include a small courtyard as well. I highly recommend Davis Ave Serviced Apartments.

I feel so warm and homely here. The management is very friendly.
There's a few other relevant social occupancies opportunities throughout the southern direction of Melbourne's C. B. D (Central Business District) but if it's serenity, privacy and the reception of legitimate personal care, guaranteed cleanliness (fresh, starchy pure-white linen) while you're a respected guest, look NO FURTHER.

Great location, nice recent renovations and a very hospitable host. Appears to attract a bit of a rough crowd however, so things can get a bit noisy.

Booked an apartment specifically here because I travel with my dog.

Was turned away at reception for not having documents to show where I have travelled from. This was never told to me when I first booked through booking.com

Tom owner, didn’t want to risk a fine, now I’m stuck in the rain with no where to sleep. As my van is being renovated & in a service yard & that is my normal home!

Paid 229$ for one night in a two person studio which was steep for what we got. The hotel was getting fixed up in a lot of places so it looked messy. Our room was okay and spacious though it definitely didn't look as nice and polished as on the photos. The most shocking thing was we found a man already in our bed as we first entered the room. Called up and immediately got a different room, but that was a bit annoying and unprofessional. Late check-in communication was good though.

Great value rooms. Comfortable bed and all facilities available except oven wouldn't turn on. Would stay here again.

Great budget accommodation in the heart of South Yarra. Clean tidy rooms and super comfy bed in room 18! Would stay again.

Read: -1 stars. You know how some apps say 21, feels like 18, well Punt Hill in South Yarra has it all. This studio apartment feels like a caravan and camping ground. From the cracks in the wall in the bedroom to the rising damp in the bathroom, you'll feel right at home. From hearing the neighbours dropping a pen to hearing them take a pee and from rain drops hitting the box gutter, you'll hear everything, all night long. From the shared, 50L HWS to the 2 ply toilet paper this budget accommodation is just waiting to be demolished. Avoid.

Visited a friend staying at the Punthill. It is an upmarket motel only, and definitely showing its age. Visitor car park is difficult to find and hard to access. No disabled parking. Footpaths are uneven and it would be ready to fall. The room was reasonable, but no more than a motel would offer. Over all, Punthill is a perfectly reasonable budget accommodation option, unless you are in a wheelchair.

I came down to Melbourne last weekend and stayed at the Punthill serviced apartments, I found the apartment very clean and the service exceptional. I would highly recommend staying there to anyone.

Stayed there in October 2015 for 12 nights. Reception/onsite manager was really helpful. Good Location, it was very close to South Yarra train station. You can reach the CBD in minutes. There were plenty of nearby dining/shopping options, groceries/supermarkets. There was no lift in the property, so I had to carry the bags to the second floor. The building/apartment was bit old, may need a renovation. They have laundry facilities, and were providing washing powder sachets.

Great proximity to station, food and other shops, place was a tad smaller than thought but very nice to just relax and get away from life's worries

If anyone is planning to stay in a serviced apartment in Melbourne they should think about staying here. The staff are friendly and the rooms are modern and immaculately clean.

I highly recommend Punthill serviced apartments, i have now stayed here on 4 separate occasions and the service has been great every time.
