Punjabi Curry Cafe reviews
57 I order aloo paratha from this store! Firstly the paratha were not cooked properly and secondly there were no butter on them. I order paratha not chapati!
Secondly the Samosa’s were worst! There is no flavour in this thing! Very disappointing! Better to have good chief in your kitchen mate!
Ain’t going to order again from here! Thanks for ruining my dinner tonight!
While the butter chicken chicken and Briyani was okay the garlic cheese naan was the worst I have ever tasted in my life to the point the whole family didn’t eat and it was a complete waste of money. It wasn’t even cooked properly I don’t know how you mess up naan so much. Very disappointing
I already left a review on uber eats but wanted to say, this restaurant is delicious. Best indian takeout I think I've ever had, full of fresh delicious ingredients and rich flavour. I want to try everything on the menu.
Horrible Manchurian, no taste, salty
Not sure why restaurants cannot make basic items correctly. Please don't sell items, you don't know how to make.
We ordered 3 curries and garlic naan was amazing and taste was like pure indian punjabi curry and in australia this restaurant is first one they are giving onion salad for free.
Fantastic Indian food. Delicious curries and naan’s. The owner was very friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere.
Surprisingly VERY GOOD. Looks a bit cheap and run dòwnfrom outside but I was pleasantly surprised.
Really The worst Indian restaurant ever, ordered aloo gobi veg which was made by adding boiled veggies to tomato curry sauce hence changing original recipe. Also, the Roti bread were all burnt.
Really disappointed me.
Absolutely best curry in Melbourne!
Been here 3 times and always receiving the best service and the best food. ️
Have been going here for years now. Food is consistently fantastic. Have tried most of the menu and everything has been delicious. Recommend the saag + garlic naan. Some of the best Indian you will get in Melbourne.
The food was tasty. The host was able to remember so many orders. The service was so quick. They were so inclusive. Not rude although it was almost their closing time.
Just ordered food from this resturant and guess what had the most terrible food. Parathas were all burnt and were thick. 2 curries butter chicken and paneer makhani they are same no difference of taste all, all they did is just add chicken pieces and paneer pieces in currie. And they smell and taster so bad that literally we didn’t eat that. Waste of money and time.
This was without a doubt one of the most luscious dishes I’ve ever had the privilege of experiencing. I’d certainly eat it again.
Bang average. Surprising with such great reviews on Justeat. Really disappointed.
My butter chicken was really Smokey? Not sure what they put in it but was unpleasant to eat. Somosa’s didn’t seem fresh at all and had a bitter aftertaste. Korma was really bland.
Definitely amazing food. I've been three time, a friend of mine who's Indian take me there and wow, that was an amazing idea! I really recommend it!
Best curry in Melbourne, hands down.
There’s something about this block that’s magical, Thin Slizzy’s has the best pizza in town, FeeFee’s bar is a great place to chill, but tonight, even though I love those places, I felt like some curry, so dropped in here, and it was absolutely phenomenal! I usually go for Japanese curry, but this has set a new standard for me, and I don’t think I’ll find anyone who can match it for a fair while.
Seriously, if you’re not convinced, just stick your head in the door and take in the aroma.
When I walked in, there was a delivery bag with a Chicken Tikka Masala, insane how good it smelled.
Best Indian food in Melbourne.
Usually I add more words to my reviews but the above sums it up nicely. You aren't going here for the ambience but the food is incredible.
Love this place!
They have the perfect butter chicken alternative for vegetarians - Paneer Makhni. Never had a bad meal here, both dine in and delivery.
This is my favourite Indian restaurant for dine in or takeaway in the area. Our family has been eating their for years and have never been disappointed.
My go to dishes are the goat curry and tandoori chicken but it is all good.
This is one of the authentic Punjabi cuisine restaurants in Melbourne, if not only. Must try Parathas, Kheema Rotis, Dal Makhani, Paneer Kadai. Their service is prompt and taste is what you expect from a good Dhaba style prep. Keep up the good work! We would love if they could open their business for lunch as well:)
