Pulao Place

Delicious south Indian menu. Great atmosphere and service. Quality food at a reasonable price. Hopefully in the future they will serve/offer filter coffee as a menu option.

We had visited Pulao Restaurant for giving Catering services for Birthday Party and I should sincerely appreciate Chef for making such a delicious food. Everyone at the party has appreciated. There was only one mistake from the Reception that they could not give us Rotis which have placed the order as per their Menu card advertised in FB and we specifically ordered with Paneer Butter masala curry. Upon asking for that they just made up saying that it was not the part of the order instead they gave one jumbo Biryani Rice and agreed to make 10 rotis but we had no time due to party kickoff. And that was the only disappointment from the Reception end. One lesson learned from my end is to always keep a photo copy of the finalized menu list.

I was badly craving for authentic Indian food and came across it which is famous for its pulao but not just that, they have also got their delicious variety in veg and non-veg starters with their spicy chicken manchurian, sizzling chicken cashews, juiciest chicken tikka and papdi chaat.

Their main course keeps you crave for more with their famous Punjabi butter chicken, spicy chicken dosa, tasty goat biryani and ofcourse their chicken pulao which was absolutely amazing.

Don't miss out on their desserts as they have their special gulab jamuns with rabri and you can't leave their place without having their fresh paan.

I’m so glad my husband suggested we eat Indian tonight and that we chose Pulao Palace. Food was AMAZING! Even my Indian son in law was impressed. Service was excellent and staff super friendly. This will definitely be a regular for us.

Came here with my friends today and it was fantastic. The interior is gorgeous whilst the food is delicious with massive serving portions. The staff were helpful and friendly too. Would definitely come back.

We had such an amazing time at @pulaoplaceroxy, every dish was done perfectly! I can’t decide which was the yummiest, but they definitely have the best Biryani, prawn curry and Gulab jamun I’ve tasted - served warm with the aroma and flavour of saffron and cardamom!
Had the best Tikka Biryani & I am pretty sure I can never say No to this biryani, full of flavours & spices just order 1 and you can see the quantity enough for two persons, also tried their chicken tikka which was juicy and flavourful and served with imli sauce, their fried prawn noodles also got hype so tried and it was really ambrosial, loved their flavours, had an amazing experience.
The non-veg entries are a must to try too and don’t forget to enjoy the delicious pani puri and samosa chaat.

Had a meal at Palao Place Roxburg Park, Our experience was great, the staff member was extremely friendly and nice. Especially when we order the curry, she specifically asked about our spicy level, when we said we are not great with spicy, she told the chief to make it especially mild. Which was fantastic for us and made our meal enjoyable. Much thanks to the waitress that serve us which had a good manners and puts customers' interests as a priority!

Been to this place for dinner and we absolutely loved the food. Tasted the real south indian flavours after a while.
And the gesture and service from the staffs were really amazing.
Ambience is good with neat decors to spent our family time.
What else we need will definitely recommend this place to someone who really loves to taste an authentic indian food.

My family and I have been here twice already. We tried their Northern Indian food the first time and returned to try their Southern Indian food. You cannot go wrong with either choice of food you order because everything we ordered were amazing. Pricing is also quite reasonable.
Their dosa and vada is some of the best we have had in a very long time! If you are to try their Southern food, definitely try their Mumbai masala dosa and vada. Their wait-staff were friendly and attentive although food took a while to serve which was anticipated given we all ordered dosa and it was a busy weekend night. There is some room for improvement in this area.
We ended our dinner with masala chai which was also amazing with just the right amount of spices. For those who are yet to venture into masala chai, this is a great intro to it as the spices are mild and not overpowering.
Lastly, dad tried their sweet paan (an Indian after-dinner 'treat' or delicacy) and was full of compliments. He went as far as to say that its much better than the ones he had tried in India which speaks volumes!
Overall, a great place to dine with friends and family! I'd recommend it to everyone to give them a try.

The 1st time we went to this place was to try the North Indian food. We tried the Dum biryani, a few curries, chilly corn and pepper chicken. The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The 2nd time around, we tried their South Indian food. Their dosas and vadas is the best that I've in Melbourne. We ended our meal with a nice cup of masala chai, again one of the best chais I've tasted in Melbourne, the size could have been a little bigger, but again I normally drink a lot of tea. They also gave us free sweet paans to taste, which were very good (they make it themselves). A must go if you want to try authentic Indian food. Highly recommend.

Best Indian restaurant in Melbourne, biryani was yummy and pulaous are really tastey.
Tandoori chicken is also nice. Masla dosa was yummy. There is a plenty of parking space.

One of the Best family restaurant in Roxburg park. Came for lunch today with family, I amazed with food and staff service. Staff was very knowledgeable with all menu dishes.

I had mumbai masala dosa in lunch and it was delicious and there price is also reasonable, service is also so goodi will highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

It was surprising to see this place is halal certified, must visit if you’re in for some desi yummy food! We tried chicken tikka biryani, chicken schzewan, prawn salan, chicken noodles and homemade garlic naan! And my fav gulab jamans! Loved em all. Enjoyed the nice ambiance and a shout out to the courteous server Avani.

The food was very delicious and authentic. The mutton and prawn curries were amazing. The chicken 65 biryani rice was bit dry but the staff kindly replaced the chicken 65 biryani with any biryani of your choice. The service could be improved because the waitresses didn't come to check on the tables frequently enough for example when you ran out of water.

Overall I will definitely go there again.
