6Nice city view and quiet place. Really a place to get away from the city hustle and bustle. A place to sit down and relax or to have an evening stroll or jog. Great for a family get-together or just have fun with the kids
The only issue about the Yarra and the tan is this is the only toilet block. There should be a few more.

A great spot for a BBQ picnic on a warm sunny day. Beautiful views of the Yarra River with numerous trees along its banks, set against tall city buildings in the background. Close by you'll find public unisex toilets, several BBQs with free gas, ample parking, and plenty of decent grassed areas to picnic with friends and family. Bask in the sun while watching the world go by - joggers, walkers, bike riders, boats on the river, etc. What a beautiful city we live in.
I am surprised people don’t come here for BBQ on weekend nights. The parking has no time limit and it’s free while there are so many free BBQ stoves. Amazing beautiful night views you can see while having amazing food! Highly recommend any Melburnians or tourists or backpackers to come here for evening BBQ.
Danny and I travelled up to the MCG for a quick look around before going to a specialist centre. The bridge across the Yarra has been done up.still working on it, looking great. We stat by the BBQ having lunch looking at the Holden Centre on the other side, well worth taking an hour out of your day just to sit and view.
