I would like to share my experience with IELTS Tutorial. I gave my exam on 2nd dec and got my desired band score i.e, 7.0. With approx 2 months of online coaching with Richa ma'am, I was confident enough to book my test and I achieved my desired score as well. I would like to thanks Aditya for providing smooth experience throughout and most importantly Richa ma'am for constant support and guidance. With my regular job on side all I did in terms of preparations was the classes that I attended and 3 days of practice before the test. Richa ma'am I can't thank you enough for the support. Your classes was my only saviour admist my hectic schedule.

I had joined two months of IELTS Online group classes with Sandeep sir. His detailed knowledge of all four sections gave me an adequate understanding of the IELTS exam since I was writing this exam for the first time and had no prior information on the same. Further, his strategies and techniques strengthened my weak areas and I was able to attain an overall band score of 6.5 (L-7, R-6.5, W- 6.5, S-6.5) despite much practice.

I would like to recommend these classes to all candidates preparing for the IELTS exam as it provides flexible timings and save money.

I want to take this opportunity to share a few reflections during my preparation and exams and share a few tips, which may benefit others. Apologies if it’s a bit long.
I joined Sandeep sir’s 8-week program in the last week of September 21. At that point, I must admit I had almost no clue about the IELTS examination and was under the illusion that it should be straightforward. However, once I attended a couple of classes (Reading section to begin with), I realized that even though it’s not a tough examination as such, but it needs practice and perseverance to follow the guidelines.

My learnings:
1. Attending almost all the classes of Sandeep sir is highly recommended. Many of us are busy professionals in our day job and away from the practice of taking exams for years. Please spare an hour every day, and it’s worth the time.
2. Allow at least two months of preparation time from the moment you start preparing to take the tests.

3. Reading and Listening section:
a. Closer to the test, in the last two weeks, practice as much as you can from mock tests shared by Sandeep sir or from the Cambridge series. It will help you to be familiar with the different question types. Towards the end, you will find that you start really enjoying taking those mock tests and this becomes an addiction!
b. The examination day will be different from practicing at home. There will be pressure to perform, distractions, etc, and many of us (like me) are out of the practice of taking tests. So, only if we are getting good scores in our practice, we can expect to get somewhere close to those scores in the real test.c. Be very attentive to the Listening section, even compared to Reading.d. The tips shared by colleagues during the class are very valuable, but at the end of the day, we need to figure out our own strategies, which only comes through practice.e. Do not leave any questions unanswered.

4. Writing section:
a. Most important tip (which Sandeep sir re-iterates many times and where I missed out during the test) – please allow 10 mins to proofread, rather than to expand further on ideas.b. Revise the PowerPoint guides shared by Sandeep sir
i. Differences between 3 letter types
ii. Different types of essays and how to arrange the thoughts based on separate paragraphs
c. Most of us are used to auto corrector in MS Word when we type reports in our professional lives. However, since there is no auto corrector in IELTS, please revise some spellings where you feel you make mistakes often.d. For improving the punctuation and sentence construction, consider using Grammarly APP. It’s quite a nice one to highlight errors during practice.

2. Speaking section:
a) As Sandeep sir says, best to speak out our minds without apprehension. The examiner is not testing our knowledge on the subject but merely whether we can express our ideas.b) The performance during the day could be impacted by other factors. E.g, I had to wear a face mask and face shield, which was bothering me during the speaking test!
c) The guides (power points) are helpful.

I want to thank Sandeep Sir from the core of my heart for the effective and result-oriented coaching. Despite never meeting him face-to-face, he is one of the best teachers I have come across, a very humble and gentle person.

Before I joined the group I wasn't familiar with the format and approach for this exam so I was very nervous but the way Sandeep helped us approach the topics and made us all practice in each class really helped to gain confidence. Also inputs from all fellow students in the discussions encouraged in the class was very helpful. I would like to specially thank @sandeepsinghaussizz who I think is a gifted teacher and I am sure many in this group will agree to it. He helped me identify my weak areas and pushed me on those which really helped me get my desired score of 8,7,7,7. So Thank you all for the support.

I'd like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the efforts to achieve this band score and would like to mention that the practice sessions for all the modules significantly enhanced my score. Briefly talking about each module, listening and reading tasks were apt, and up-to-date, covering all types of questions with high difficulty levels, making me realise what could be my weak points and then working on them. Precise feedbacks on writing and speaking made me confident enough to do well in exams. Additionally, inputs in terms of providing practice material or helping timely with feedbacks or regular speaking sessions, there was nothing I could have asked more. I am grateful for the support from @SandeepSinghAussizz and thank you for being kind throughout the course especially creating an environment where anyone can learn.

Last week that is on 6 December 2021 I joined PTE tutorial and fortunately I get a chance to join Shruti mam batch. Initially my target score was 65+ but now I feel that I can achieve 79+ and it’s only because of Shruti mam. The way she mentors is amazing she has deep knowledge, experience and command to teach and clear all doubts time to time. I hope that after completion of course I would be able to overcome my gaps. I am lucky that I joined PTE tutorial in very first attempt.
