PSW Cheltenham

Came here to get a winter uniform for my nephew. The lady was so great and helpful. I wish I had asked for her name. PSW Cheltenham have great staff, advice and just really know their stuff. Recommend. Thx.

Had dropped in to get a couple of uniforms. Was quick as the size was known and went at a time when not busy. Staff were quite friendly and helpful. The store is near Warrigal road and there is parking available.
If you need to size up, would recommend booking it in. Stock was not an issue at least for the school which I was looking at.

Very friendly staff that are more than happy to help you with any needs.
Great experience for my family

The uniforms are clean with a lot of size choices, staff are friendly and has a wide range of uniforms. Prices are expensive but that's reasonable depending on what school you go to.

How dare you deny a 12 year old child who’s starting a new high school next year the right to try on and purchase their uniform! What do you expect them to wear? This makes me sick that you would do this.how is this not an essential item? !?

Store Manager refused to return uniform without wearing under return time period. Made a false comment. ' Smells Human Body ' a Jacket never worn. Highly recommended not a place to buy.

My experience in this store was painful. Very long wait when I knew what I wanted - just wanted to purchase it and get out! They serve one customer at a time, the server seemed annoyed when I asked any questions as though it was an inconvenience and no prices are readily available. Realised a pair of pants were too big so returned to buy more and another server showed me a different (cheaper) version of the pants with a drawstring. I think this wasn’t provided as an option in my first visit because they were cheaper. Was talked to and treated like a nuisance when asking simple questions. I can’t believe in 2021 that a business would have such a clunky system.

I do not like shopping at PSW. PERIOD. I've no idea why they have the monopoly over the uniforms as they are clearly not bothered by any customer review, stress or lack of customer service. Not to mention that you wait so long unless you make booking and it takes over 45 min just to pay after the initial wait period, the measurement which is over an hour. Only to be told, the jumper is not in stock, will take 2 months because it is shipping from CHINA! Mind you the price on PSW are so high that it makes you wonder, who had the bright idea that the uniform shopping has to be this hard? I don't blame the staff who are made to follow ridiculous system of shopping where you wait, measure, wait and pay. Whatever happened to just going there to buy uniform. This is traumatic experience to say the least and I do feel sorry for parents who have no idea how expensive their uniforms are and their jaws drop at the payment counter.

How confusing is this place? New premises are great but when you walk in, you just see a big service desk and the school clothing is behind a wall on your left. There is no signage about the buying process. You have to wait for a person to help you. They will get you to try on samples in the barricaded area on the left as you come in. When you find your size, you go back out and wait while they find your item from the back. There is no dedicated waiting area and people usually have a confused look on their faces while they wait.
If your school is not part of their support list, you're out of luck unless you're looking for a non-school branded item. They could really use a little focus group on customer buying process to improve. They have a monopoly on uniforms and they really ought to provide better service.

Feel a bit bad for the poor lady who served me today as she was clearly new. But needed to exchange a woollen jumper for a sports jacket. Had a receipt, only purchased 3 weeks ago. Unworn. She had to get the manager’s approval. That took 5 minutes. Then she couldn’t work out how to do the exchange, that took another 5 minutes. When she asked the manager for help, the manager told her she was doing it wrong and walked away. So she had to find her to show her how to do the transaction, another 5 minutes. Then I was told I could only get a credit for my $5 owing. Although the garment was unworn and I had a receipt and had paid cash for it. I said “that’s ridiculous, it’s just $5, just give me the $5” and she had to check with her manager. Wait 10 MINUTES. Told has to be credit. Is that even legal? SO ANNOYED. I went all Karen on her and feel terrible because it’s obviously her awful AWFUL boss and not poor her. Terrible TERRIBLE BUSINESS.

Great place to shop for school uniform. Although it can get quite busy at times, the friendly staff are always keen to help.

It's not in good location, right turn out to Warrigal Rd is a nightmare though in less peak hour. Moreover the staff working there is helpless, dealing with customers coming in as likely to get rid of, too tired.

We received excellent timely service. All items were available and was very pleased with meeting our school uniform needs.

Wow, this has got to be the worst clothing shop I've ever been to! The staff are so rude and extremely unhelpful. You're required to wait to be served before you can even browse for what you need. If you just need to pop in to get one or two things, forget it! Staff are slow and the system is inefficient. The shop is very unwelcoming to customers and children. I dread going back there. Fingers crossed a new supplier opens up that has some nous about customer service.

Lisa has the worst customer service, so rude, racist, discriminatory and very unprofessional. We waited 45 min in the line social distancing from other people in the line and in the freezing cold until we were next in line when Lisa decided to come out and ask for 1 person to go in? Within the last 45 min of us waiting not one of the three women working opened the door to ask for 1 customer, yet we were next in line and she asked for anyone in the line who was a single customer? Well clearly everyone there was coupled so either accept 6 customers in your store or four and don’t ask for a single customer since u haven’t done so all morning where is the logic. In these unprecedented times u add to people’s stress. Your rudeness towards us when we said we were next and so unfair that u haven’t asked all morning but decided to now so I went in on my own to get the uniform and turns out it was small so I have to return again or and most importantly no manners very cold all because we spoke up and tried to make sense of why she would do that. Appalling!

Worst system ever. I just wanted to get in, grab uniform and get out but it took me 40mins whereas usually it would be 5. Wasted big time!

This was a great shop before they relocated, all we wanted was a pair of socks, we can see them hanging on the wall behind the counter but this is now like a vic roads office so instead of walking in grabbing the item we can see right in front of us we have to take a number and wait and wait and wait.

It's clear that someone at PSW previously worked at Vic Roads. You have to have a ticket to get fitted, a ticket to pay and I'm certain they're soon to implement a ticket to leave. Seating set up like a school bus with an annoying alarm going off calling the next family to line up only to be bombarded with yet another set of purchasing terms. Staff just stand around as confused as the customers. I felt like I was ordering a new set of plates for my car.
