10Found a ring on the Prouds website and went in store to purchase. After waiting in store for 30 minutes because they couldn’t find the ring I was told they could order it in for me. I placed the order and paid in full only to receive a phone call a week later advising me that they cannot order the ring in for me and I had to go back in store for a refund. Once there no explanation as to why they couldn’t order the ring and no apology for the issue or hassle of having to go back for a refund. Not the first time I have had an issue buying a ring there and will not be returning again!
Stay away from this branch!
1. Getting a necklace clasp fixed.
I went in to get a broken 18ct yellow gold necklace clasp to be welded.
They did not tell me, they will send it off to be fixed offsite by one of their useless & lying contractors.
When it was time to pick it up, the clasp was completely different and it was discoloured SILVER flimsy clasp.
When I ask them where is the original 18 ct gold they tried to gaslight me saying that this was the one I had brought it.
Luckily for me I took photos while I was in the store BEFORE I handed it over to them together with the receipt.
So I showed them the photos (actual proof) of what I had brought it and they were caught in a lie!
After a lot of back and forth with these liars & thieves all they did was waive the $50 fee which was not a resolution because my original 18ct yellow gold clasp was long gone and I was stuck with this disgusting inferior product.
TL: DR: They send things to be fixed offsite and they will gaslight you. Make sure you take photos before you hand anything over to them or better yet go somewhere where they do it on site.
2. Buying a gold (9 ct) disc pendant.
I bought it brand new but it started discolouring and now has turned orange/brassy. No amount of cleaning is fixing it.

Great customer service bought a gold chain from there Angela and Naz were absolute pleasure to deal with they helped me find the perfect necklace and took their time dealing with my indecisiveness they were a treat happy faces and assisted me in purcashing the perfect necklace very happy and will definetly shop here again:)

VERYYY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE! WANTED TO SIMPLY ASK A QUESTION ABOUT THE ITEM IN THE SHOP FRONT WINDOW DISPLAY. I LEFT THE STORE AND DID NOT PURCHASE THE ITEM! DISGUSTING SERVICE BY THOSE 2 WOMEN (STAFF MEMBERS) AT PROUD STORE IN BROADMEADOWS
THE WORST STORE EVER VISITED. THE STAFF INCLUDING THE MANAGER ARE VERY RUDE. WORST EVEN WHEN PROUDS DOESNT HAVE A CUSTOMER SUPPORT WHERE WE CAN OFFICIALLY LODGE COMPLAINTS AGAINST SUCH RUDE STAFF MEMBERS.
