Ordered the avo kimichi toast. $23 for two slice of toast, half avocado and a few pieces kimichi. Personally I think it's very overpriced and tastes nothing special. $6 for the regular flat white, tasted alright. All the prices mentioned include weekend surcharge.

Incredible food and coffee.

Just found this place on maps and it did not disappoint.

We sat at the bar which turned out to be awesome because we watched the baristas doing all the coffee and they have all sorts of different coffee machines and devices.

Coffee was good but I loved the food. The potato hash was so delicious and it comes with this giant thick cut bacon. It tasted a bit corned beef-ish which I like.

Definitely will be recommending to friends.

These guys are the best. They hate joke reviews, so I'll just give five stars and leave it at that.

Tried the filter coffee and flat white, both were nice
Tahini eggs are delicious with sourdough toast
Scrambled eggs are great too
Cozy atmosphere, really a place you can idle and chat with friends
Will come back again

One of my favourite brunch places - I’m guessing others too given how busy this place gets. Coffee has always been pretty consistent and plenty of pourover options for coffee connoisseurs out there. Decided to go with the chicken toastie that comes with chicken jus - so good. Plenty of sweet and savoury brunch options available if you’re not a fan of a toasted sandwich.

Easily one of the better brunch cafes in all of Melbourne, and that's saying something. The venue is always a delight, the food on point and coffee stands out.
Absolute recommendation is the cauliflower dish, you can't go wrong. The menu is so refined and well thought out, there's real value in coming here.you certainly will be proud you did it

We ordered the Onion Soubise Toast which I absolutely LOVED! Great serving size and packed full of flavour. This one’s for the cheese and onion lovers like me.

The Potato Hash was okay, we added the anchovy sauce to the side in case it was too fishy (it wasn’t - just the expected saltiness). The potato was a little difficult to eat at times.

Super friendly service, these guys are machines at pumping out coffees and food on a busy morning. Very impressive.

Unique creative menu and delicious food! The food portions are good too! We enjoyed our avocado and cauliflower dishes. A bustling busy cafe, with lots of people getting takeaways.

We went at around 11: 30 in a Saturday and it took us around an hour to wait to get seated, to order and receive our food. The wait was long, but at least the food made up for it. However, the waitresses were a little cold, and service was minimal.

Great coffee, good atmosphere and service (music sometimes is a bit too loud though) I only ordered simple dish that they customised for me, it's just exactly what I wanted and taste perfect

Not the best experience at Proud Mary for breakfast this morning.

It’s a buzzing place in a great location but it’s pretty chaotic inside because there’s no simple system or process for waiting to be seated, so people linger around at the entrance.

Once we were seated, the wait staff were very friendly and the coffees were good but a little lukewarm in temperature. We ordered from cabinet which had some yummy looking things. The lemon cake was really good, just a tad dry. The Mac n cheese toaster was great, the letdown was the hash & egg wrap that was actually pretty well made but lacked any sort of sauce or flavour.
I asked the wait staff twice for tomato sauce which never came, then I asked for siracha which also never came.

Ended up leaving a bit annoyed, so overall a pretty subpar experience.

Wanted to order food and coffee and pay with cash.
I was asked if I had a card to pay rather than cash. As a result I bought only a coffee which was a cup half full. Oddly enough, they had a tip jar at the counter with more than likely dirty cash in it.
The staff were pleasant but I found it totally contradicting to accept cash for tips but not for food.

Everything was on point — coffee, food, and service. Definitely the best cafe experience we tried in Melbourne. Definitely going back on our next trip.

This place has been my go to for 10 years and I think it is changing unfortunately. Coffee was pretty good as usual but the second I got as takeaway was burnt. Tomato salad was disappointing as they served off tomatoes that any cool should and can pickup on when making the dish. If they are low in product, it is more respectful to say so than putting this boring dish of two sliced tomatoes, one unripe and one off in front of the customer. I was unsuccessful in getting attention from any of the busy waitresses to raise this issue or even order a second coffee. Staff don't seem as happy and cheery as they used to.

Bought coffee to go in my small keep cup. I don’t mind waiting longer since every cup is crafted. But after waiting 11 minutes (time I pay passed to when I got the coffee) all I got was disappointment. Essentially warm milk with a hint of coffee. For $5 I expected more, the ratio was completely off. I was in a hurry to catch my tram so I just took the coffee and ran. I won’t be coming here again. Also got my name wrong and called me Michael.

I feel obligated to give these guys a 5 star review. I don't live in VIC, nor have I ever been to the actual Cafe. I have been subscribed to Proud Mary's single origin filter coffee subscription for the past few months and it is by far the most out there, weird coffee I've tried, and that's a good thing. The extra little touch that they provide by giving a history of the relationship with the growers and some details on the roasting really helps me to develop my own taste and learn what I like in a cup of coffee.

I'll be honest, I can't afford most of the deluxe/limited editions coffees that PM's releases, but the few that I have been able to get my hands on have been worth every cent. Especially when compared to the gimmicky hype of something like black ivory coffee. PM deluxe coffee is far from bad value.

They also reply to me when I text them back on their promo texts, which is pretty cool.

The only think that I would like to see would be a way to add other products to my recurring orders. If I want something extra that fortnight, I don't like needing to have two seperate orders that arrive at different times and doubling up on shipping fees.

Hello from Sydney, I've been buying your coffee beans for past 4 years from a small cafe in Newtown called Handcraft. Yesterday I bought natural processed Colombian by Jorge Rojas.

It's so impressive that I have no qualm in saying I haven't had a coffee so exotic in last 10 years.

We had take away coffee today, asked for extra hot, after along wait, it came cold, doesn't tast good, disappointing. Something is changed than the pre covid quality.
