I have always managed my own financial affairs with a degree of success. However, my concern around the state of financial affairs in Australia and around the world since the GFC caused me to look beyond my own skill set and to people who not only knew the markets well and had excellent contacts, but also who helped shape our investments according to our risk. And they also made sure we exhausted the best possible options around our tax, which turned out to be quite favourable for us, and something I had not previously considered. They team at Prosper are not arrogant and do not push you in any direction. But they do provide you with the best possible information to make the best informed choice.
