Propaganda is the best resource for Melbourne film and theatre art departments and event decorators.
When you first arrive you will be overwhelmed by the huge amount and range of props and furniture on display, so plan a few hours (call ahead to book a time) to be able to really explore what’s on offer.
The staff have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the stock, so if you are looking for something specific, they will be able to guide you to the right section.
They also have an extensive costume section.
An incredible Melbourne institution- you will recognise iconic bits and pieces from past Australian films and TV- but there are also many more specialty, period and rare items in their collection- and all for hire!

Full of the most amazing wardrobe from all decades. Such a hidden gem.
And Tristan and Desi are so lovely to deal with.

Helpful, friendly and more props than you can shake a stick at! Must view & visit for all props, medical equipment, schools, police and anything you can imagine!

HUGE HUGE RANGE! Props, backdrops, dressings, costumes - you name it they have it - and if they don't, they might know someone who has! An incredible resource - especially throughout covid times when sourcing during lockdown has been nightmarish. It's a one stop shop with thorough covid practices to keep everyone as safe as possible. Extremely accommodating and reasonable to deal with.

Would highly recommend Prop-A-Ganda as they are reliable, very friendly and super quick to respond to your prop and wardrobe needs! Make sure to have a good look inside their warehouse because you might find things that no one knew were there. There's just so MUCH!

Not sure they know what day it is, what they're doing, etc. Seems like an excuse to be a hoarder, without much other value.

This place is great for vintage props for film and television, especially hospital equipment. But it's one of those places you need to come and look around because you will find all sorts of treasures. It's best to call before you head over, also check out their website.
