Proof Pizza

Very thoughtful and intentional service with some of the best woodfired pizza I have tasted in Melbourne to boot. Highly recommend for connoisseurs of the classic Neapolitan Margherita.

I’ve never had anything other than an excellent meal from Proof. Service is friendly and efficient, the menu has just enough variety and portions are sized just right. The mini meatball entree is a fun little treat with a pot of saucy meatballs and a bowl of crispy charred bread to enjoy them with.

Awesome food. Great servicd. Catered my special dietary requirement. Love the professionalism.

Had a group of 14 for a birthday event, and it was a great space for it. Delicious pizzas, great vibe and George was very friendly and accommodating.
Some on tap beers would be nice, but otherwise an excellent spot for pizza!

Had the Beef Ragu here last Thursday. It was delish! Great traditional Italian food and lovely atmosphere.

Best pizza in Heidelberg. Traditional Italian style so if you enjoy dominoes style I recommend you go elsewhere.

Would give it zero if possible.
We ordered through Uber eats.
Pizza arrived and was left on the doorstep in the middle of winter with no notification. When we found them they were stone cold.
Also uncut.
Hopeless and frustrating.
Avoid.

Having heated the pizzas in the oven and cut them with my wheel, they were incredible. I normally make my own so have not eaten store bought pizza for years - this was a delicious pizza with a creative and delicious approach to toppings.

Just found out the restaurant - not the dreaded Uber - delivered the pizza. We even pretipped. Delivery person clearly thought they had the top so why bother ringing the door bell.

These people should know how to do better.

Worst pizza l have had, the pizza base was paper thin and almost no toppings on the pizza, with no taste, l will never go there again or recomend to anyone to go there.

What a wonderful experience it was at this place. I ordered Rosemary and Herb Focaccia and Shrooms pizza. The taste was awesome and quantity was good. Quick service, Friendly staff and good ambience. This is definitely one of my favourite restaurants. Keep up the good work guys!

Editing this 5 years later, hadn’t been back in a while. Recently went for a small birthday dinner with 6 of us. Really bad experiences all night with the two waitresses. From their job performances to them gossiping about members of our group right near where we were (we heard them, obviously). The poor service really took away from the food and usual ambiance and everyone was a little uncomfortable. Won’t go back again.

Was a very great experience, food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and professional especially Gen who was taking care of us. Would definitely recommend to others.

Nice local place decent pizza, very nice and friendly staff and one of the best tiramisu that we ever eat!

The food is great, the vibes are chill, and the dishwashers are some of the cutest guys I've ever seen.

I didn't expect my takeaway pizza to come with a piece of plastic as an added extra. Not much sympathy when I rang back to complain. "Never happened before" is not an explanation nor apology

Just giving some constructive feedback. Ordered the spaghetti napoli, accompanied with the garlic and herb focaccia. Was pleased that both came to the table at the same time. However, i found the spaghetti to be over cooked and the focaccia a little doughy with a soft crust. Kind of felt like i was eating nann bread. Now, i do understand that sometimes we all have an off night and this isn't an attack on your establishment. In fact, i found that the young girl that looked after us was very pleasant and catered to our needs, considering we didn't have a booking. I also left her a tip. I found the ambience and layout to be soothing. Will i come back a second time? Yes i will. Just cook the spaghetti al dente and it's happy days. Looking forward to dining in once again.

Delicious pizza, and friendliest staff that I have ever been greeted with. I believe her name was Ruby but she was so accommodating and helpful, would highly recommend this place and I will definitely be going back!

Great authentic pizza, the best in the area. Since Proof have been using their own delivery drivers lately the service is fast and the pizza arrives hot and crispy. Hoping to get in to eat in one day.

SHOCKING. This Pizzeria we have ordered take-away and had pizza and a pasta delivered by them - always was told a 20-min or longer wait before the delivery team can collect, but the food has always been the best and super fresh. But tonight, after a 2-month break away, the Pizzeria is now run by youngsters - the food ordered came in less than 10-min and both the pizza and the pasta were clearly pre-made and likely microwaved.both meals were hot but sloppy - even the beer-glass was dirty - IT'S NOW SHOCKING!
