Prom Wildlife Walk reviews
13A walk where the eyes are surprised by a movement and allows us to see the animals blending into the landscape
Beautiful place where kangaroos and emus are guaranteed.
For wombats, it's best to visit in the morning or evening. There are enough parking spaces available. The path is easy to walk on (but not suitable for strollers etc.).
One of the coolest national parks in Australia and a great wildlife walk!
Of course, the time of day is super important - early in the morning or late in the afternoon/evening!
There is a large group of emus, several kangaroos and, with a bit of luck and a lot of attention, wombats to see. A real highlight!
So good! We saw so many kangaroos and a handful of emus too, no wombats but I suspect they’re nocturnal? Very nice walk would highly recommend
I came when the sun was about to set and saw many wombat and emu. One of them approached me and sniffed around; it was an amazing experience.
So much to see and do. A lot of walking trails along the way, as some of them were a bit time consuming we didn't get round to doing them. Will definitely come back with more time to have a better look round!
This is a good walk, not too much vertical. Loads of stunning views across the national park. Easy parking. Great little spot to havea cool dip by the river. Fairly shallow and kid friendly. No crocks!
This is so a perfect place. Take your time, relax and enjoy mother nature. Must visit place.
This walk is amazing. We've been a couple of times and can definitely recommend going there at dusk. There are loads of animals and they are quite tame (meaning you can get quite close to them). We have seen wombats, kangaroos, wallabies, lizards and emus (in the distance). The walk is really nice and you get to see different types of nature. Lots of parking spaces and it's never been too crowded. If you want to see animals, this is the place to go.
Went off the path a bit and took the trail to the airport. We saw a lot of kangaroos and 5 wombats around 4 p.m. One of the best experiences at the Wilson Prom
It was fun trying to look out for the wild animals during the walk and we spotted some kangaroos and wombats. If you spot them, stay as quiet as possible and not get too near and disturb them.
I first went at noon and didnt see a single animal, came back for sunset to spot some kangaroos and wombats
Amazing short walk with so many to see. Visit inMuch and the sunset is around 8. Animals come out at around 7.
