Primary @ Pioneers Park

This cafe has a really lovely setting and I was looking forward to you coming here with my friends because of all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, the food was really dried out and just not worth the money we paid. So, to be honest it was a disappointment in that respect. One of the waitresses was very helpful, but the younger one wasn’t. Perhaps they were all having a bad day?

My husband and I have dined in on several visits and have enjoyed beautifully freshly made meals, what stands out the most is the amazing customer service. All 5 stars go to the beautiful staff!

Apparently, a 20-minute wait is an acceptable time for a takeaway coffee
Customers who had sat and ordered after said takeaway coffee were priorities
Very poor management of time and queue.
Met with a snarky, it's coming up soon, upon request, before another 4 sit down orders are poured.

Unless you have the time to sit down and have a coffee, skip this location at all costs.

It is always one of the best cafe's this side of town to come down to with friends and family. Great setting. Great food options. Great service.

Awesome cafe, such wonderful food and atmosphere. Sitting in the sun while watching the kids play in the playground, enjoying our food, it was a perfect Saturday morning. Our buttermilk fried chicken and beef quesadilla was absolutely delicious

The ambience at Primary @ Pioneers Park is excellent, with ample indoor and outdoor seating options. The customer service here is top-notch! The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and attended to. It truly enhances the overall experience.

And a special shoutout to their scones – they are amazing! They are baked to perfection and goes well with a tea or coffee.

I can't recommend Primary @ Pioneers Park enough. Do yourself a favour and pay them a visit them – you won't be disappointed!

Lovely cafe in a beautiful park. The outdoor seating is the best - get to view out to the park but still under cover and kept warm. Was quite busy when we went, so service was not exactly quick, but the food was delicious. Also recommend the hot chocolates!

Lovely spot for breakfast or lunch in the heart of Berwick. Good menu selection. Prompt and friendly service. Venue is very clean and well presented as are the staff. Lovely park adjacent to the venue with kids playground. The restaurant accommodates dogs in the outdoor area. 10 out of 10

Great place for a catch up, we had coffee and cake, can highly recommend the savory muffins, great coffee. Fantastic wait staff

Always a pleasure to eat here. It's always busy and quite loud.
The food has never been a disappointment. They have a good basic wine list and they make good coffee.

One of the waitresses was extremely rude to my wife while she was there with her mum's group. They booked online and told them they have some prams, the other waitresses were nice but one in particular kept making rude remarks and said that they were "ridiculous" as they were leaving, obviously didn't like the fact that she was slightly inconvenienced. Or maybe she doesn't like babies, I don't know.

Very unprofessional, might wanna have a chat with her.

Food amazing. Service amazing. Unfortunately we were in a semi private room with someone else's yelling child that kept having tantrums.older toddler not a baby. Made it very hard to hear. We there with 2 kids in our own party so I am not anti child. Missed out on most of our family conversations due to noise levels.

Many things are precooked and sit in warmer for long time. Dried out and tough. Not fresh food for the price. Don’t know where all the good reviews come from

I’ve been an occasional visitor to this cafe for over a decade now. They have come a long way from being a simple cafe to a humble contemporary setting in the past few years.

The staff are friendly and they offer a good service here. The best part is the small playground that’s right next to the cafe allowing parents to get some quality time while the children play within their eye’s reach.

The menu here is not what you’d expect from a Brunswick cafe, but they offer all the staples from smashed avo, fritters and eggs all the way to pancakes. All the items I’ve tried there are pretty decent, and some items such as the calamari hit the spot perfectly.

For me, the combination of open spaces, large country style table settings, and the playground next door is a winning recipe.

Be mindful of large crowds flocking in on public holidays and weekends. Recommend booking in advance for those days.

A lovely restaurant with friendly staff. My family loves going here as we can book a big table in a separate room to usual dining. And they always serve tasty food.

we had breakfast here Tuesday morning but already lot of patrons are coming in and enjoying food. We had Salt Pepper Calamari Nourish Bowl.both were very tasty!

Very nice place with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere.
Our order was taken and then agreed upon when read out to us. Waited approx 25 minutes for our meals, my partner received hers which tasted ok however the chips seemed precooked and kept under heat as they went cold quickly. My meal arrived and was different to what I ordered. The staff offered to make the correct meal (in 5 mins) however being time poor I decided against this and subsequently shared my partners meal. This is the 2nd time this has happened at this Cafe! First time I let it slip, sorry folks not this time. Lift your game!

Order a regular iced mocha. How is this size a regular? Clearly a small. I won't talk about the price.

Ordered a regular iced mocha, kids milk shake, a large iced chocolate and large iced coffee.all were warm and had no ice in it. We were all disappointed in our drinks. A McDonald's frappe would have been better and cheaper.
