Superb Service. I bought a mower from this gentleman that lasted for 15years. I would take it back to get serviced every few years. Lovely man and very well priced.

Day started with the mower breathing out its last dying breath. Like a gift from the gods I found this place thank you so much. Runs like a cheetah now.

I had a great experience dealing with Leon yesterday. Friendly, knowledgable and I walked away the proud owner of this piece of history for a great price. Highly recommended!

Got a great mower for a very reasonable price. There was an issue with the catcher but they fixed it for me when I brought it back. Very happy with service

It's simply a place full second hand lawn mowers. Joe and the others were lovely. No frills, just mowers.

I found Preston Mowers (both generations of family) to be polite, helpful and provided a well priced, efficient service. I plan to go again if required.

Terrible service now the sons have taken over the business. Bought a mower from there a few years ago. Had it serviced by the elderly owner- no problems. Recently took it for a service to find his sons have taken over the business. Paid $150 for multiple parts to be replaced. Got it home, tried to mow the lawn, only to find continually cutting out after 20 seconds. Returned the mower to them within a week to face a barrage of questions.did you leave the fuel pump open? No. What petrol are you using? Normal petrol with mower oil mixed in (as directed by your father when I bought it) How old is the petrol? Two months. Why so old? Because I only mow the lawn every few weeks so I don't use that much. What type of container do you keep the petrol in (the metal tin I bought from your shop when I bought the mower from your dad- the same ones on your shelves that you are selling now). Is there rust in the tin can- it's probably contaminated? I doubt it. Where do you keep the petrol tin? In the garage. Is it damp in the garage? No. Is it kept on the floor? No, on a shelf. What type of shelf? A wooden one (like the wooden ones in your repair room. Why did it take so long to return the mower? Excuse me mate- I only collected it a week a go. I work in the week and went to mow my lawn on Sunday to find it doesn't work- I'm returning it now (two days later).

One of them removed a small piece from the mower, saying that could be the problem. I went over to have a closer look, he got angry with me and told me to step back out of the repair area- a safety issue. He then said it could be a coil that needs replacing and that would be extra. I said, I've just paid $150 and you tell me I may have to pay extra. Why wasn't that replaced in the service. How much extra will that be? , No answer.
I then asked how much does a coil cost, surely you can tell me if it's $20, $50, $100. Neither of them could give me an answer, saying they'd need to have a look and get back to me. As their business is based on scraps of paper everywhere and I took my receipt with me, they probably don't have my mobile number.

So as I write this, I am yet to find out if fixing my mower will cost even more and whether it will work when I get it home.

I will never use this business again. Unfriendly and very rude. Trying to blame the customer after he's just paid them $150 for a major service. Avoid and go to a place that takes pride in their business and reputation and is nice to customers.

If someone paid me over $200 to fix there mower twice in less than two months and it broke down a third time. I would offer to fix it for free. This guy will not.
