He's so rude, I only wanted to ask something, and he just told me rudely to leave and go other place.

Came in on a Tuesday to have a pocket repaired on my favourite (expensive) winter jacket which I needed for a function at the end of the week.

The owner Marcus suggested it would be ready the following day, and I said not a problem, I can pick up as late as 4pm Friday and we agreed it would be done by 2pm on the Friday.
The agreed fee was $30-$40.

I came in at 4pm on the Friday and it had not been completed. I was pretty annoyed but needed the jacket, so delayed my plans and came back at 5pm as I was assured it would be quick.

The work was clearly rushed and the matte black material was replaced with a shiny material which didn't match the jacket.
Marcus still charged me the full $40 despite the run around and proudly talked up the quality of the repair.

6 weeks later the repair work came undone after only 2 wears. I brought the jacket back in and was met with hostility as I tried to give feedback on the experience and the material which did not match.

Save your money and go elsewhere.
I was ripped off and still need to have the pocket repaired by a professional.
Zero accountability and I can't even get my money back as I paid cash.

The best! I originally went in to just get some pants hemmed but Marcus made some great suggestions to ensure the alterations would suit my figure. I’m so happy with the quality of work. Thanks! Will be back again!

Marcus is a star! He handled my wedding dress with care; he stitched up some torn patches, redid the hemline and made sure the dress fit me perfectly.

I have known Marcus for over 15 years and have been a customer since day one. He's amazing at what he does and nothing is ever a fuss. The fact that he's been there so long is testament to his great customer service and quality workmanship that he provides. Always highly recommended.

Will never recommend this place to anyone. Went back to collect items, didn’t have cash so had to come back to collect and pay. Covid happened and being vulnerable it took me a while to get back, without any form of communication he threw my items away/donated to vinnies. Then had the audacity to have a go at me and tell me he shouldn’t have to contact me. Was absolutely horrified with his lack of responsibility and professionalism.

Have been coming here for many years and never disappointed. Even the most difficult alterations have been undetectable. There have even been times when the altered clothing has been better than it was before. Designer clothes in particular. I would not trust anyone else. Marcus is a true master of his craft.

I had the most wonderful experience with Marcus today. I called very last minute on New Year’s Eve morning with a broken bridesmaid dress.
