My partner has just moved to the local area. She asked the staff member behind the counter if she could have the chicken which had just come out of the oven. The female owner pounced on my partner insulting her in front of half a dozen waiting customers. She claimed our chickens are always fresh and became annoyed. Adding if you were a local you’d know how good our chicken is. Well we have just tried the chicken and it is very dry. Not impressed with the food nor the arrogance of the owner.

I was in there on Friday night, just got some large chips for $11.00 wow! It seems unless you buy chicken/ chips combo you get slugged the higher rates. TBH they were better a couple years ago, now they are overated. Too busy and Uber orders get preference.

REVIEW:
Generous delicious portions. The chicken has one of the crispiest skins I've EVER had on charcoal chicken, and chips that are so plentiful and salty that it was fantastic. It was somehow crispy, but had a fluffiness in the centre. Absolutely freshly fried. The stuffing in the chicken was also delicious. Highly recommend their Chicken and Chips!

Would avoid the salad. It's cut too thick and the flavours aren't there. The Greek salad has all the ingredients, but no tanginess or pepperiness that's iconic of a greek salad. The Coleslaw lettuce is sliced too large, which makes it quite average to eat. Considering there's a Woolies next door, you should get salad from there instead.
The gravy was a bit too gloopy for me as well, but it's great in adding moisture.

Service was great. Truly local owned, friendly Asian lady at the counter. We wanted to dine in, but with the abundance of birds around there was bird poop on the table. She offered to send her employee to clean it, so we could still dine in!
We also wanted to go for a large gravy ($1 difference) but she recommended against it. Thank goodness for the advice. Although it's a $1 difference, the size is almost DOUBLED. Overall, fantastic service.

Fairly speaking, this place has a third-world customer service in the first world country. Excluding the young workers. Anyway lady is just too rude and rushing too much in customer service. She has to be a PATiENT person if she advertises such a comprehensive menu for customers. It was just too annoying the way she was pushing and directing me verbally as rude just to choose something too quickly to make payment to her. Even though it hadn't been for a minute I entered the shop. And I wasn’t closing the customer's line in front of the register as well.

Not the best quality food ever, but friendly service and generous servings. The salads are not great but most other things are well worth having.

If you like food with your salt, this is the place for you! Sadly for me, I view salt as a seasoning, not a main dish, so the admittedly enormous portion size was mostly inedible. The 2nd star is well earned by their portion sizes though, they’re enormous.

Wowza. Ordered a 1/2 chicken pack with chips, 2 x salads, 1 x fried chicken and gravy – delivered via Uber Eats.

Charcoal chicken was a bit oily on the skin and the meat was dry. Fried chicken was juicy and tender. They certainly don't skimp out on the chips, although I wish they had chip sizing options when ordering as it was a hugeeeee serving for one person and a bit unnecessary/increases food wastage.

For salads, I ordered Greek and potato salad. They were both well portioned and fresh.

Would order again but will definitely leave a note to halve the chip portions in the future.

Got a 1/4 Chicken and Chips with can deal. Great deal so many chips and the juiciest charcoal Chicken I've ever had. Great job guys was excellent.

Chooks always fresh and tasty, the place is usually pretty busy during peak times and turnover is high so patience will pay off.

The chips are amazing along with the home made gravy! They overload it and the burgers are to die for!

I dunno how they’ve been voted number 2 chicken shop when they made me wait 45 mins after saying 15 min. The chicken was as dry as cardboard and they didn’t even do the chips properly like they normally would. What a horrible experience i certainly will never ever give them a cent again.

Lovely people who treat every customer like a king. And the best Chicken & chips I have ever had. They always double check your order is right. Been going here for 3+ years and its always delicious & filling, and thanks for the huge piles of chips every time. You guys are the Best!

Chicken arrived still hot and nice After 40 minutes delivery, great service, well flavour large whole chicken already cut into meal portion, great taste large chip, one of the beat chicken shop in the town.
