Prestige Inhome Care - Eastern

My mother has been in prestige's in home care for 5 years. During Covid she was hospitalised for more than 4 weeks and had a life threatening illness. Her team of carers who have been consistent throughout, were regarded as part of her extended family. Each contribute different strengths to her care. What is consistent is a standard of care that is respectful, kind and supportive. This continuity of care has been invaluably in building meaningful relationships.
When mum was discharged from hospital I needed to organise 24 hour care at short notice. The case manager, rostering team and carers impressed me on their compassion and empathy. All went that extra mile to ensure the continuity, standard of care and availability of care. In my communication with admin, case management and carers, Mum was the priority and the person in need of support. She was never a number or a burden. I was so comforted by the support I received. I cannot recommend Prestige in home care more highly. Its standard of care is second to none. It has given both purpose and meaning to mum in maximising her independence. Prestige has given me the opportunity to have a mother daughter relationship rather than a carers role.
