WORST customer service. No greeting as you walk in. Stood around for ages waiting to be helped and they just stared as if to say ‘what are you waiting for’ … YOU. I’m waiting for you!

So disappointing as was so excited to come in and grab some stuff on my maternity leave that I’ve been so excited to look at.

Can't believe their furniture is for kids. I bought a drawer with baby nappy changing unit. It is quite smelly when we received it. Such strong smell must be harmful for kids, even adult cannot Stand with it in one room for 5 mins.

Items not as described. I wish I’d read the reviews before purchasing. Don't shop on their website. The photo, description and delivery time on the website is a bait and misleading.

Worst service. Been waiting since mid December for my order, when i was told it would only take 30days for despatch. Every time i enquire i am told they are waiting for the courier to collect. Very poor service.

Understandable during the COVID delayed. Instead of delivery, I have arranged for click and collect. Do save a lot waiting period And very good customer service from the store department, very helpful.

Unless you buy it directly from the store and have no later issue with your product, don't bother shopping with Pottery Barn Kids (or their sister stores). Delivery of online items is in shambles and yet they continue to take more orders. Really disappointed.

The customer service was very bad. I purchased everything for my babies nursery room from them and it’s delayed for 3months. All I heard from the staff was we can’t do anything. We can’t follow up and we don’t know how much longer you have too wait. It’s ridiculous. Never buy from this company again.

Not sure why they still in business. Its scam. Order placed for 3 months and still no sign. Called them and ETA another 2 months to go.

Don't purchase anything unless you are walking out of the store with your purchase. I had purchased a bed and when the delivery arrived it was just the bed slats, no headboard. I've been chasing customer care for the remaining parts of the bed for past 3 months but the only answer I get is we are raising it with our support and our warehouse hasn't responded. The customer care is just there to listen to angry customers, they have no good system to get the actual status or contact the warehouse. It useless calling or emailing the customer care.

Very poor service at the Chadstone store. Rang prior to going in to see if they had a cot on display as I live an hour away. Was told that they had something very similar so I would be able to get a good idea. When I came in nothing similar at all. Asked a staff member for help and if they could show me something that would give me a good idea of the materials. Advised them I was willing to spend up to $2000 on a whole new nursery. Was told they would go ask for me then they simply moved on to someone else, saw them standing at the register talking to another customer, I was just left. Not the first time to be disappointed here but it will certainly be the last.

One of my favourite stores with beautiful products. Staff offer great customer service and assistance. I only wish that you could order online and pick up from store (to avoid excessive delivery charges).

Final straw. Thanks to Davina.

After spending $8000 over the last 6 months at the Pottery Barn / West Elm stores I have had to call it quits.

Was trying to purchase something online after an online issue yesterday, so I called the store today to sort out the purchase. After 10 calls ringing out finally Davina answered.

What a cold, aggressive and angry women. I said midway through the call. Stop, I'm not doing this cancel the order.
Id rather be without the purchase than deal with that.bitter and frustrated women.

Thanks to Davina. I will never ever set foot in one of your stores ever again or spend a cent!

Pottery Barn kids are evil, they have so much amazing stuff here I was so tempted to buy the whole darn store. The staff, especially Kate is amazing, she is so friendly and so willing to help. Thanks for making shopping with two very active kids a more enjoyable experience than expected!

Excellent staff support and products- the kids linen is all very durable for high frequency washing and drying without fading! Very happy with the quality of the kids furniture too.

Wanted to purchase leather armchair. Whilst I fully appreciate no two chairs would be the same shade due to leather I wanted a light colour. Advice from staff - nothing we can do and it's a 20% handling charge in refunds. My suggestion to Pottery Barn- we will check stock in Sydney, photograph the chair before issue and you can confirm it's good to go. In the age of customer first and the digital economy perhaps Pottery Barn need to rethink their service levels and more importantly the attitude of staff.
Delivery fee is $50 and a refund handling charge on this item would be $340 approx.a bit of a disconnect here.
