Posh opp shoppe reviews
37Great store. Lots of terrific designer stuff at reasonable prices. Easily could spend an hour browsing. Lucky to have this amazing shop in our neighbourhood. Keep up great work guys.
Lovely staff, amazing selection of good quality items, great service, helpful volunteers. Love shopping here
Large range, generous prices, lovely staff.
There has not been a better op shopping experience in years since Savers closed down and went into receivership. Rivals in the neighbourhood look uncompetitive by comparison. All proceeds go to legitimate charity and highly accountable.
I feel some negative reviews here are biased, and I'm very sceptical of some accusations here. I might suggest shopping in a better mood. These staff are volunteers and work hard for us. The only change needed is your new opening hours. Dont forget.
Really good op shop with a highlighted range of genuine vintage stuff, and broader range of good quality general stuff. Staff are really helpful and friendly.
A bigger store than the other two on this block, huge range with a lot of blanket prices for clothing items (unless otherwise marked) which I personally feel makes things easier.
Huge selection of bric a brac, clothes (mens, womens and childrens), shoes, kids, books, dvds and even furniture.
Everything is reasonably priced and make sure to check out the reduced stock out the front, and remember to let the checkout know you got it from the front.
Literally every time I come in, the items jump in price from the signs. Today some shoes (Big sign saying all shoes $5), but suddenly became $20 “because they’re a name brand”.
3 shops side-by-side wanting your business. This one looks like the biggest. Stuff everywhere.
First off Many of the staff are just plain rude. Middle aged man with stubble has 0 customer service skills. The elderly lady had to step in to accept my payment because he didn't know the price of anything as they didn't have price tags. I was buying a few clothing items all of which were the same price but the few that weren't he couldn't decide if they were the same price off the same rack.
Also as far as op shops go, this one has a lot of junk, but each to their own on that front. The shop itself also has a off putting musty smell due to the large range of shoes I assume, a lot of which I wonder who would ever buy in the state they are. Prices are above average considering the amount of similar shops in the area. Ultimately there are better options and I normally head here last if bargain hunting.
I love the store but the cashiers are very rude! And by the looks of the reviews section, I am not the only that is feeling the bad vibes off the cashiers. Totally unprofessional and lack of experience with the public. What a shame!
It's definitely on the pricier end for an op-shop, maybe that's why they call it Posh. A Husk womens' jacket that was a little worn and with an inside stain on the armpit was still being sold for $150 which is a little steep for damaged wares. It certainly has its charm, not going to lie.
Bought two new pairs of shorts for $20. The volunteers at the front were very helpful. I was blown away by the quality of clothes for an opp shoppe. I was blown away by the quality and amount of brand name clothes. Will definitely going back.
This place certainly has its charm and they do have some great wares, however the staff are often extremely rude which is a shame. They regularly berate customers - unnecessarily and complain about them loudly. It's very overpriced for an op shop - and as a result the store is way too full and you can hardly shop as the racks are heaving. If they lowered their prices, they would have better stock turnover and a less crammed store. Oh and they should try and be a bit nicer to their customers.
Owner is rude and racist! I walked in and out of this horrible, filthy over crowded shop in less an a minute with my friend after a lovely day visiting all the op shops along this road. As we walked out of the store a horrible little man who I understand to be the owner followed us and demanded very aggressively to see my bags. I had a bag from other op shops and also some purchases in my handbag as I was trying not ti use too many bags. I was so shocked that i stood frozen while this person PHYSICALLY attempted to go through my bag even though I had explained we had been to other shops and even offered to show receipts. My (white) friend quickly realised I was being racially profiled and defended me. This is absolutely disgusting behavior and there is zero excuse.
Large selection of clothes, can find good items.
However, there is a problem with how rude one of the lady is. She complains a lot about how the other workers or volunteers price some items then wants to make the customers pay more money than the price on the tag. She doesn’t greet people or smile either. If you don’t like customer service that much, why work there? (It seems like I’m not the only one with such experience).
Watched the manager accuse a young couple of removing pricing when there was no pricing on an item. I know because I picked up the item before them.
Everything is really overpriced, considering their competition on either side of them. In addition, when you walk in, it feels like you're going into one of those sleazy discounts stores. Lots of old shoes thrown on the shelf, regardless of sale condition. At the stroke of 4: 30, the lights were turned out, even though there were still old folks and kids still on the premises, which is completely illegal.
The owner is an awful and rude person. Rude to customers and volunteers. It's not worth the visit and I wouldn't donate to this opp shop either. There are better ones where people are not talked down to or shamed/ humiliated for being there. I'd give them a 0 if I could.
I called for their business hour before my visit to make sure I have enough time to shop, they said it's close at 4. I visited at 3: 20 ish, the shopkeeper guy came straight to me and said ’we're close in 10mins. Just so you know. ’ How ridiculous and rude. Shopkeepers and some people kept chatting in French in front of the store over 3: 30 though. I used to visit this store for thrifting often but not anymore.
This little op-shop is full of eclectic and rare items ans clothes. Their hat collection is unrivalled. You're sure to find a gem here, you just have to dig and search. Items are priced pretty fairly
There is so much choice, I have started going here for a look at what treasures I can find before I will go out and buy new.
