Portuguese Association of Victoria

I went to the place and it was closed. No information on the website. It even said that it was opened but wasn't.

I spent 37 years here, now I'm going to die in Portugal.
In my wanderings around the world, there are already more than 50, always with the desire to fraternize with my countrymen but, unfortunately, the vast majority, was out of line with me.
Normally, the alfacinhas and the tripeiros do not align with the provincials: not because they are more cultured: but because they are smarter! Although, they are also provincial.
That said: to say that the A. P. V.brand was born almost 50 years ago, with the desire to bring together the Portuguese community in Vitória.
Over 50 years, groups of people of goodwill, voluntarily, did their best for this house to grow in every way: including fraternal love among our countrymen.
However, on the other side of this marathon, groups of opportunistic outsiders appeared, often incompetent and dishonest, who, exploiting their associates to the point of blood, still have the nerve to tell the world that the reason is theirs.
The last group, who ruled this house for the last 10 years, went swimming in banknotes and everything seemed like they wanted to stay there for another 10 years: however, they leave the house, completely bankrupt and without having to report to anyone!
For years, they kept hidden accounts with debts to the government, without anyone being held accountable.
It is curious, that if they had the current assets for sale, nobody would give the amount, corresponding to the hidden debt! Where did the millions go? I have no data to accuse anyone, but there are people out there who should go to jail! For now, I'm going to ask God with all my heart, for the new direction to perform a miracle: save the A. P. V. For my part, it is with great regret that I come here to say that I will never set foot in this house again! ! Hugs to all my friends.

The take away service this community club has been offering during the state of emergency restrictions has been the best opportunity to taste real Portuguese delicacies! From "bacalhau" to "frango de cabidela", without forgetting "cozido" and so many other great dishes, it's been a joy to be able to grab this really tasty food from them. After the restrictions are gone, they'll probably get back to their weekend services.

We were the only party at brunch the day lockdown lifted, and were treated royally. Our delicious small dishes were ushered in with a helping of beautiful Fado from one of the ladies from the kitchen. Very charming. Wonderful attentive staff and delicious food.

Lovely food and people. We were also treated to an amazing fado song by the lady preparing our food, and she sounded wonderful. We will definitely be going back.

Delicious Portuguese food! Suggested Portuguese custard tarte, grilled cod fish and grilled octopus.

There is anew restaurant now with genuine portuguese food which is very good. Staff were extremely nice and friendly. You'll be better booking for dinner as it gets busy specially Friday and Saturday.

Brilliant, outstanding, entertaining place. Only problemo is, it Should have a close bus stop to the club, and many more people would attend. Trust me. Many more people. They would party Portuguese styles like its 1999. Peace
