Portmans

Can completely attest that this is the worse store Portmans has due to their horrible staff- extremely rude and disrespectful, will never be returning. This happened Monday 3/7 during the afternoon

Walked around for 10 minutes and tried on clothes without being acknowledged or offered help for sizing. Not entirely sure what the point of having two staff on if they’re just standing behind the counter not doing much

Absolutely rude!
My husband and I went in yesterday 11/10 around 3pm and were completely ignored by the two female staff members in the store,
I stood there waiting for some kind of acknowledgement and got zero,
Needing uniforms for staff members,
It’s ok I was well looked after next door in Myers,
I will never go back.

I was looking for a full outfit and a staff member went way out of her way to get me what I wanted and I love it

Visited the Northland Store 2 weeks back and all the girls out there were so helpful and amazing. The dresses which I was trying on, they gave me such a lovely feedback as to what will suit me and bang I picked one of the most beautiful dress. It looked so good on me. Thanks to the honest feedback they provided and helped me throughout my shopping. Great customer service. ️️

At what point did shops stop caring about customer service. Of late I’ve seen the worst service in now two of Portmans stores. Today I noticed three staff members at Northland as I did laps around the store looking for some new clothes for work. Not one person said hello or asked if I needed a hand, which is fine I didn’t anyway. I went off tried my clothes on then walked out where I was asked how I went. I gave the young girl an item and stated I didn’t want that but the three other items I was purchasing. I walked over to the counter as she did till one of the other ladies who worked there started talking to her. I stood and waited a minute or so while the two staff members talked about a strawberry farm while I waited for them to serve me. In the end I walked out quite unimpressed. Just under a $200 sale they missed out on. Now back when I was in retail. Which was a long time ago, that would have been something I wanted for my KPIs now days there is no drive to sell, look after customers or run a shop like it is their own. Sadly Portmans is my favourite clothes shops where I spend a fair bit of money, and in the last month two have just let me down with customer service.

Potentially my worst customer experience to date. Was ignored when asked for help. Was ignored when leaving the store. And even upon entry, felt unwanted in the store.
