Just went to the store today as I have eyes on one of the blazers. I highly rated staffs there, I forgot to ask her name but she’s real nice, thoughtful and very helpful.

I realized that I bought wrong one right after purchased. She offered to exchange the new one for me. I asked for her second opinion on the blazers and she was so patient and helpful.

I went there before and experienced a very good service. Always made my day walking in to the store.

I brought some " Rome Wide Leg Jeans" and paid express post as I needed them quickly for a work event. I was so happy when they arrived in time. HOWEVER I then went to put them on to wear to the work event only to find out that the seam down the thigh of the left leg was not stitched. I had to quickly pull out the sewing kit as I did not have time to return them. I will never ever buy from Portman's again. NEVER

Really positive experience. Lady behind the desk was super helpful and offered to grab me next size up from the back so I could compare without me asking. Really appreciated the willingness to go the extra mile:)

Recently visited this store to purchase some additional workwear items. The sales lady was absolutely lovely especially considering she was run off her feet at times attending to other customers. Would definitely recommend.

The service was so kind and patient. It took me five other outfits to finally purchase one out of them. The worker, Liz, was patient, kind, and considerate. She was considerate towards my religious requirements, expectations, and with advice!

Went in - didn’t get any fretting. I had to go to her first then the whole way through she was miserable and boring and was showing she hated her job

The lovely young lady Helin who served me today (29/10/22) was so beautiful, friendly and helpful. Such wonderful service compared to other stores in the same complex, who do not even greet you.

I went into Portmans on Saturday 15th looking for a dress for the coxsplate and there was two ladies that helped me find the perfect dress and made me feel so welcome in the store. I ended up going back and another lady helped me find a fascinator. I can’t thank you all enough and your customer service was fantastic!

Staff today (31.07.2022) Portman (Melbourne Central) treated us very rudely, blaming just because we couldn't locate the hanger after trying the cloth. We tried our best finding the hanger around, but it was probably moved somewhere else within the store by other shoppers, we also spent time looking for it. But the staff didn't consider our efforts and passed a rude comment while we left the shop.
Felt very embarrassed.

Kindly ask your staff to treat everyone equally.

The one star is for the staff who are pretty friendly. The clothes in portmans years ago used to be god quality but now? Absolutely terrible! $100 for a blouse that is made of thin cheap material! Seriously! All of their clothes seem to be either bright and horrible or some sort of ugly floral pattern. Won't be stepping foot in their stores again!

Unhelpful staff, mostly poor service. Don’t know what’s happened to retail these days. The Highpoint location has much better people from my experience. Most of the staff here look bewildered at you, like.what are you doing in the store? (To shop) and didn’t offer any assistance or minimal.

I have never experienced this before.

I walked in, browsed through some clothes and the storeperson greeted everyone around me, including a lady who was standing a metre away, but me.
It was the weirdest experience, I had a bag on my arm and was clearly looking for new work clothes.
After a bit, she hovered and stuttered out a "Can I help, hello" before skittering off awkwardly.
Mate, I can speak English.
Put the clothes back on the rack and promptly left.

Great customer service. Big shout out to the girl in the Melbourne Central store was so helpful, such a lovely manner & extremely efficient
