Portland RSL Memorial Bowling Club Inc. reviews
28Great meals and at a fair price keep up the value for money meals. Very yummy meals. The staff are lovely and very helpful, thanks for the great service.
Such a friendly place wish we had more time to mingle with the local bowlers. So nice to find such freindly people
Needs revamping and more managing as to order a main meal i.e, a Fishermans basket and be told can't have it in a seafood coastal town isn't on the same for dessert no banana fritters.kids got charged $10 for 3 little scoops ice cream. Mousse to dark choc tasting its bitter.some meals small opposed to others. 2 exact steak meals one steak huge other half the size OMG you can't do this.this could be an awesome place with right person's brain.
Great food, fish and chips was great. The prices are okay too. The club is open earlier, but the kitchen only opens at 6: 00 p.m.
We had a family dinner tonight and I ordered the Hokkien noodle stir fry with seasonal vegetables. I then ordered for dessert a Sticky Date pudding and a gluten free caramel slice. Everything was fantastic. Definitely going back again. Everyone else's meals were really good and good sized portions too.
Wonderful food sad to say there was a broken pepper shaker and pepper went all over my food, still a wonderful place with create food and amazing atmosphere.
Great venue.
The meal was great, and the prices are very reasonbly priced great for a Sunday lunch on a cold, wet, and windy day in Portland, ideal for families.
Would go back there again.
They offer a diverse menu that features both traditional and modern cuisine. The Bowling Club has a great reputation for high quality and affordable meals.
When it comes to the food, the Bistro truly shines. All of their dishes are carefully prepared to ensure that each dish is bursting with flavour.
We had an absolutely wonderful weekend playing lawn bowls. The lunchtime meals were absolutely superb!
Had this venue recommended to us, and this crew are FANTASTIC! They are the most efficient team I have seen in ages. A well oiled machine! Really good food, super fast and friendly and very affordable. Well done to all at this place!
A group of guys with filthy language in the gaming room. My wife and I left after mentioning to staff and it still continued.
Will not be back. Coffee was nice.
Very ordinary fettuccine carbonara … watery and tasteless. Needed to bd cooked down further to intensify.
Food was decent and well priced but we waited nearly an hour for our main courses and very little selections on the menu. Overall the experience was mediocre.
Friendly atmosphere. Meals were very good for price. Went on a Wednesday night, meals arrived within 15min.about 50 people having dinner so pretty efficient. Have done away with the buffet post covid.
One of the best Parmas I've had in a long time. Solid serving size, great roast potatoes, friendly staff and much cheaper than a lot of pubs. Highly recommended if you're in the area
Staff were lovely but very slow service.people who ordered after us received their meals before us.
1 child was served a meal while the other child didn't receive there's for another 30 mins.steak was nice but the rest of the meals at the table were not even average.wouldn't go there again.
Meals are very good, haven't been for a while, but big improvement. Will be visiting more often.
Had wonderful food at a very modest cost. Calimari was perfectly cooked and the arancini were tasty and moist. Hardly fine dining surroundings but the food is worth a return visit. Obviously they have good chefs. Other restaurants could learn a lot from these guys.
Meals were terrible. Chicken was dry, the lamb shank was fatty. $25 for lamb shanks, when you only get one, it’s fatty and without hardly any meat. I left feeling sick. Not what I expect from an RSL
