Portelli's Woodfired Tapas / Bank Dining Room reviews
8Food was really excellent. Very impressed, will defs be going again. Worth stepping out amid this social distancing mularky. Eat drink, be merry.
Had takeaway from Portelli’s tonight. Food was hot & fresh and great portion sizes. Very nice, highly recommend if you want great quality food!
Food wasn't too bad but it was mixed bag, fries arrived half cold, sliders could really use more salad, pizza arrived so late we were left wondering if they forgot about our order. This is 2nd time we left quite disappointed, it's 2 stars but I will add one extra for the friendly staff.
Loved it! Fresh, thoughtful, tasty, fun food. Would definitely go back. Nice little wine list too.
Food was good, a little pricey for what you get though. Not a bad atmosphere and the staff were lovely. Unlikely to return, unless it's for Wood fired pizzas and churros, that's where we felt we got best value for money.
My partner and I ate here last week. We had a set menu which included various things. The first course was pretty good, spring roles, bread and dips and some sort of cheese balls which were delicious, the highlight for us. Calamari was next, cooked nicely but seemed to be matched with the wrong sauce. Next was the pizza which was awful, not cooked properly and very oily. We then had what may have been a pork slider, the bun was stale, the top was burnt and the meat dry. With this was also a bao bun, which was nice and soft, but the filling lacked flavour, meat dry and the sauce tasteless. Dessert, Churros, were was the chocolate dipping sauce? This came with Nutella, broken up orio biscuits and violet crumble, ice cream and some topping. Too much. Churros nice, but we really just wanted chocolate dipping sauce. That all said the service was pretty good and the ladies who served were all attentive and happy. I also thought the music was too loud. Disappointed after reading some great reviews. Sorry we won't be back.
