38A picturesque wharf with a floating Christmas tree. Ride the ferry here to get to the Docklands at Melbourne
A much improved facility than the old Melbourne terminal. Staff where fantastic and supportive.
Serene shores, festive mist, Christmas tranquility embraced.

Wonderful trip to Geelong, only complaint air conditioner in top level was freezing, alot of people kept moving
Great service, if I could add anything it would be some music or sound from the tv for a bit of atmosphere, it's a bit too silent!
Today was supposed to be the last weekend of the discovery cruises on corio bay for the season. I am a carer and I brought my client along to go on this cruise. She had been looking forward to it for two weeks. We waited for 40 minutes and 7 minutes after we were supposed to depart we were told they were not going on the cruise today. Some of the others waiting had prebooked and paid online for today's cruise. This is totally unaccepatble. It was even advertised on the ticked box next to the dock that the cruise was running today and tomorrow, the 5th of Feb, as the last of the season.
Disappointed does not begin to describe how my client felt after the promises of two weeks for an adventure today.
Great place to visit for a stroll what could be called the beating heart of Geelong, breathing the salty air and admiring the view across the ocean. From here many vantage points are accessible by ferry, across the bay to Melbourne and in future across to Tasmania. Also adjacent lies the City of Geelong with a variety of restaurants, cafes, shops and pubs offering entertainment for the socially active set.
Awesome! On board staff were very accommodating in the rough conditions. The provided great advice & they're confidence was appreciated by all.
The trains were backed up so I decided to take the ferry (which is under utilized).
I got to the thermal and had to ask locals to find it.
Kiosk was closed and so was both information centers. Called the number to ask about getting a ticket and was in formed that the kiosk doesn't sell tickets and it will not open. You can book online but I had no wifi.
So the only place to get tickets is through 'Helloworld' which I was sent to the Westfield mall location. I asked mall info and she informed me that it had closed down. So she directed me to the next closest location. Thankfully they were open. Got a ticket and finally found my way back to the pier.
What a f* run around.
Horrible service pier side.
Onboard it was lovely.
The first time travelling from Geelong to Melbourne by ferry. Nice peoples meeting you before you board especially the Captain who requested a word of wisdoms, Do good avoid evils! Cheers!
Travelled up to see the Cats v Swans. 11.5yr old said it was better than the train (that he has always loved) and provides a much less seen view of local landmarks. Particularly liked the arrival at Docklands
Easy to access. Cafe on boardwalk at Docklands. Elevator for disabled to Marvel level (high) if you know where to find it. Right hand of AFL house set back. Trams 48 & 75 100 metres. No public transport to terminal at Geelong but only 8 mins walk if fit to buses. Staff excellent. Nice way to travel. Coffee bar and snacks on board lower deck rear. Expensive if commuting. Multi trip pass available. 10 trips $135.00. $17.50 one way. Minor discounts available. Subsidised by Vic Govt for period. Very fast takes 1hr 35 mins except when service travels via Portarlington. Large picture windows. Recomend to try it. Please support this venture. Also Geelong is great place to visit and surrounding areas. 2 services a day different times depends on day. Enjoy, I am not sure if without Govt subsidy it can continue. For tourists ex Melbourne or day trippers but cannot see it getting any profitibility long term. I hope I am proved wrong. I do not work for the company or associated companies just a Geelong resident.
Fantastic to go over on a Saturday for the footy, or to also do shopping or go out to differ restaurant places exploring Melbourne ️
In spite of the overcast day and the chill in the air, we had a great trip to Geelong and back. There were very few on board, so social distancing was a cinch. Inside was pleasantly warm. On the way back there was even a bit of sunshine after a rainbow in Geelong. More pleasant to sit outside. So much to do in Geelong that the less than 4 hour stop made us wanting to go back.
The trip from Docklands to Geelong via ferry was great! The service was friendly and efficient, the ferry made it from A to B and there was many talking points along the way. What a great experience! The lack of pirate ships was acceptable, although we hope to see some on the return trip.
Staff friendly, very efficient. The weather gods were kind so we had an enjoyable smooth sailing. Seats very comfortable. A relaxing journey.
Really enjoyed the relaxing way to travel to Melbourne for a night out. There was a group of 10 of us and the bar service was excellent. We will definitely do this trip for future night outs in Melbourne.
Great way to travel from Geelong to Melbourne, more reliable and not much more expensive than the VLine train.
Great coffee and snacks on board too.
