Port Fairy Folk Festival Committee Inc. reviews
10Fantastic! So well organised in every aspect. Fabulous mix of musicians. Well worth the 2000 km journey
So fun 10/10 would recommend the music is fantastic and the food is amazing such a beautiful experience
2020 was my 8th or 9th year of attending and I still love it! My group of friends started attending in our early twenties and now nearly a decade later we still make the occasion a must-do! Quality music, easy-going vibe, super fun!
The other thing about this festival is that they ask for feedback each year and act on that feedback. Quality provision by the team at PFFF!
What used to be a family friendly festival has been taken over by white plastic chairs. Great event if you are over 65. Kids are now clearly resigned to open spaces only not even a kids tent.
Absolutely brilliant what the Port Fairy Folk Festival committee has achieved over many years.
To entertain thousands of music lovers with such a quality array of musicians and entertainers for 3 days every year in a comfortable, safe and well catered environment is more than impressive.
The Shabean (Guinness tent) creates a great atmosphere for the adults with some sing alongs.
A stroll through Port Fairy township gives you a view into their local history whilst enjoying some street entertainment.
Always a fantastic music experience - Stage 3 organisation could have been improved and female toilets dreadful!
PFFF is a nice weekend of a variety of music. It is now expanding to include a variety of other artistic themes such as book readings and random discussions. Tickets go on sale lateish in the year. Lots of volunteers do lots of work to make the event function. Organisers seem good.
Laid back whilst showcasing some of Australia's finest musicians. It's not just folk, but rock, r'n'b, hip hop, blues.it's everything! Known and unknown muso's make the event a wonderful, unique weekend. As Molly says: "Do yourself a favour! "
A time honoured family tradition for my mum and I to attend this festival every year. While every year there might be a little issues here or there, the festival itself always goes without a hitch.
The volunteers make up a huge part of the staff and they never cease to amaze at how smooth the festival runs because of them.
