Port Campbell Hostel / Sow & Piglets Guest House

Stayed here over a weekend in January for three nights with my son. Stayed in a twin room. The room was large with a fan. The beds were comfy. The shared facilities were clean with plenty of hot water for a shower. The cooking facilities were excellent with plenty of storage for food in a fridge.

Just 10/10. Amazing room for 3 with pvt bath, very good price. Clean, beautiful and only a few steps from the beach.

Annie is a terrible receptionist. I said I wanted to complain about my booking being cancelled, she didn't listen to me and also told me that You don't have to come and book here again. Is this a way to get professional feedback?

Beautiful place to stay, enjoyed the beers and the chats we had with other guests. Would definitely stay there again.

One of the best hostels I ever stayed in!
The hostel rooms, kitchen, toilets and showers are super clean. You can share the lobby, which has an extremely chilled surfer/ beach vibe with guests of the brewery.
The owner and her dog are super lovely and helpful!
Definitely was a highlight of my Great Ocean Road scooter trip:)

The guesthouse area and brewery were clean and reasonably priced.

The bathroom layout is very strange with showers opening up into the main hallway of the dorms. Some of the showers are also only cold water, so there is a bit of a wait when busy.

The staff were okay, they didn't seem overly concerned with welcoming the overnight guests, mainly focused on keeping the brewery going. It's as if we were in the way.

Overall it was okay, but I wouldn't spend more than a night.

This was our third visit to this place in the last 3 years. Each year we went back over summer holidays to enjoy the beautiful Port Campbell and its surrounding areas. The place is clean with many spacious seating areas allowing guests during busy times to still have their own place to sit and eat their meals. Big windows along the seating area provide the greenery views. Kitchen is modern with enough sinks and stove tops. We used their excellent BBQ stove during our last stay, and it was a good burner with small grill section on its side. If you stay in the dorm room, don’t forget to bring your own towel and top sheet id you are finicky person like me about bedding! Doona and fitted sheet are provided. The fitted sheets are cleaned, ironed professionally and fresh (the best thing)! The number of amenities is adequate even during the busy periods, so our big groups don’t have to queue to use them which is handy. Our groups love it here!

Worst experience, the customer service was bad. The staff was not welcoming at all and was very rude.

Quite expensive for what it is and the worst part is the poor communication with the reception and how extremely rude they are. The fact that the guy in the reception was unpresentable and and rude, coming to insult each other for the simple fact of going to the toilet, makes the experience horrible. The good part of having stayed in this hostel is that we already know where we are not going to return

A nice place, beautiful location, facilities are clean. However the manager isn’t very welcoming to say the least. And the pizza wasnt great.

Service for Pizza was given away to someone else.average pizza. Only got sorry after waiting 50mins

The accommodation was really spacious and clean - had booked a family room at a price of a double room due to a system error but the owners honored the booking so it was like a free upgrade for us. Toilet was handicap friendly and there was hot water! The guest house also served amazing beers - tried the tasting paddle and enjoyed the aussie pale ale best.a family of rabbits visited us in the front yard as well, very cute. Will definitely stay again when visiting Port Campbell.

Excellent experience. The host is super nice and welcome! The beers brewed there are excellent. The common areas are cosy and there are playboard at disposition. Excellent pizza as well you should try them.

Cheap clean and comfortable room. Great beer, pizza and location. What made the stay 5 star was the friendly service and the pets!

Really spacious and clean room, clean toilets (only that the toilets were open along the hallway which was abit odd but nothing overly awkward) super cute dogs and cat, friendly manager (shoutout to Jiri (?)!) and good beer and cider! Lovely shared lounge and amazing shared kitchen!

Clean and good value for money. The owner was helpful and lent me and a friend binoculars to watch the penguins at London Bridge, very kind!

Manager is very ruge and he don't even know how to talk. Very bad service. Never recommend to anyone

Very well kept hostel, clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Can't stress enough how clean this place was it was such a delight!

If ypu don't want to spoil your trip please don't go for this stay. One of the worst management i have came across. They are being rasict with us.

Jiri, Imogen, Emily, Ben, Logan, Mick, and Lochie. What can I say? Awesome place, awesome people. Such a relaxed place, great slide show of Jiri’s travels, spotlessly clean and amazing beer! Highly recommend staying here. Thanks again.
