We have been a returning guest here for the past 5yrs. We come with friends and have an absolute ball.
BUT the room rate for cabins is absolutely ludicrous. For a 6 night stay for a cabin that sleeps 4, (we are a family of 5 so one is the couch) the cost per night is $430.next year it will be $516. The cabin is absolutely basic! I can stay at Crown Towers for less.
Every year when re booking I am told it is a 7 night min stay.this is actually not in any of the terms or conditions so not sure why this is forced on customers?
Discovery, can you please justify the exuberant cost?
The vibe of the place has definitely dropped unfortunately. It's only saving grace is the location.

Absolutely amazing stay. Great spot along the river with great section of grass for families along the river too. New amenities are beautiful and so up to date. Dee (manager) was so helpful and supportive. The whole campground felt like a great supportive community. Definitely will be returning.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Mount Buffalo caravan park for 1 night only, and we were delighted with our experience. This place truly is the best kept secret in town!
The park was exceptional. From the well-maintained grounds and the spotless facilities. The Ovens River running alongside the park is a beautiful feature.
We stayed in the Superior 2 Bedroom Cabin, and it exceeded our expectations. The cabin was spacious providing us with ample room to relax and unwind. Sitting on the veranda while the sun slowly set enjoying the complimentary biscuits and hot chocolate was magic.
One of the standout aspects of our visit was the service we received from the staff in the office, particularly from Melissa and Dee. Thank you, girls.
They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home.
We have already booked our next stay for 4 nights. Looking forward to our next visit.

This park is a great stay over. It has very clean amenities and a great camp kitchen. The unpowered sites are grassed and spacious. The ladies who greeted me in the office were very happy, provided excellent service and really gave that welcoming touch you would expect from a country tourist destination. I will be popping in again to visit and saying G'day to Dee for sure!

We came up for the long weekend and loved every minute! The whole weekend was perfect. Loved the amenities, location, and all the staff were super friendly. Being pet friendly was another added bonus. Will definitely be back!

Stayed here, the park was nice a clean all the amenities were clean BUT the woman in charge is a absolute nightmare, I’m a 55 year old woman and got accused of stealing stuff, she shouldn’t be working there at all, no people skills, they need her gone.

Great location near the national park. Only downside was there didn’t seem to be enough toilets, had to queue to use the bathroom in the morning. Other than that, great park!

It was a good experience staying here with my family. My kids loved the bunk beds and us parents enjoyed the overall cleanliness of our cabin. It would perhaps better to stay here during warmer seasons as they would dam the river and open the pool. Overall, it was a worthy 3.5-hour-drive from Melbourne.

Wouldn’t recommend staying here. Cabin was absolutely filthy; mud on the floor and walls, ants both dead and alive on the bench. Reception staff very unaccommodating and rude. Had to leave shortly after arrival and was told ‘something would be sorted out money-wise’, instead I dealt with a rude staff member over the phone and ‘nothing could be done’. $200 down the drain, they could spend it updating the place and cleaning properly. Disgusting.

Wow what a beautiful spot! Glamping right by the river was perfect. We stayed there for a couple nights in November and the weather was warm and sunny during the day. It’s warm in the tent, cool enough at night to sleep very comfortably. Birds were singing in the morning, the sound of the river was so relaxing. Bathroom for the glamp sites was clean, check in was easy and quick. Love it, we’d love to come back!

Lovely spot right on the river but not deep enough to swim. Lawns and trees to sit under by the river. Lot of permanent sites which look a bit unkempt and sightly.cabins are good some a bit older, but a lot of new ones. Reception a bit brisk.

Lovely spot by the river. Very relaxing and it was great we could walk into Punka and try their lovely eateries. Big bonus that it's dog friendly!

A very well positioned park with amazing views and ovens river access. Staff is friendly but make sure to ask for preference otherwise a non shady site in summer can be challenging. Amenities are clean overall. Will visit again.

Had an amazing stay!
We stayed in a glamping tent overlooking Ovens River and was such a beautiful and relaxing 4 nights away.
Dee went above and beyond to help us at all times, so thank you!
Look forward to coming back again

Great location with plenty of river frontage, there is a lot of permanent vans/cabins. Amenity blocks could do with a freshen up and shower blocks are a fair distance away. Good pool and friendly management. We will be back.

Our campsite by the river was very small and sloped. Toilets were old and rundown and ran out of toilet paper everyday. The showers ran continuously and at one point there was no hot water for about 36 hours. Most EXPENSIVE camping grounds we've stayed at too. The location was lovely, the river gorgeous, There were better sites by the river up the other end which were quite a bit larger and the toilet block up there was larger and in much better condition. We felt like there was a good part of the campground and a not so good part - and we were in the not so good part.

Awesome park. Large powered sites which allow fire pits. Great amenities, close to Bright and Mt Baw Baw. A must visit. I can't wait to go back.
