Pools R Us

Please be very careful working with them. I am still  building a pool with them and they could not finish the pool for the last 5 months. According to the contract they should finish building the pool within 4 weeks. The   contract is front loaded and once they take your money they stop coming without finishing the job. I am with a Temporary fence around the  pool to my backyard which I have paid weekly for the last 5 months since they could not finish the job.  Having a temporary fence is costly and quite dangerous when you have young kids.  They stop answering the phone and stop communicating once they take your money. Please be very careful. In my opinion no one should ever consider building a pool with pools r us.

We rang pools r us and emailed them not a reply we try few times and no reply. It feels like os they have your money they don't want anything to do with you.

Thankyou to the team at pools r us. From Bec and Julie at admin to Ben, Tony, Blake and the boys at at build stage, these guys work incredibly hard no question or phonecall was ever to much! I finally have my pool and LOVE it! Thankyou to all!

We had our Concrete Pool and Landscaping built and designed by Pools R Us. Every phone call and email answered and followed up on the day. Soil and Easement on our block a challenge but Pools R Us took everything in their stride and made it look easy. As promised pool and landscaping finished on-time. Julie you are a Miracle Worker, Ben Spot-On, Damion & Shaun landscaping brilliant and Tony a pleasure to deal with.

Our first pool with Pools R Us was perfectly pitched and delivered. Their insights and advice ensured we got exactly the right pool and pool area created for our backyard in Healesville.
Their service and attention to detail was excellent.

After moving from that home to a new location - we called them again to help us choose a different format more conducive for the location we want the pool. As before - great advice. Perfect result and a happy family with a pool that gets used so much.

The fibreglass format has been so easy to maintain and we get the most out of our Pools R Us pool.

Recently we had an issue where the pump wasn't working and I called Julie for assistance. Matt called me back we had it sorted in no time at all - no call out needed. Free advice and support.

CANNOT recommend this business and it's people any higher.

This is a warning to those of you who are thinking of building a pool with POOLS R US. They are not a professional company when it comes to there promises and there moral ethics to there customers. They have the worst customer service, there is no communication and they don’t follow up to advise you of the progress of your pool. I signed up with this company 6 months prior to Xmas which I was told that it was ample to time to have my pool installed before Xmas. Can you believe that the blame for the deadline not being met was my fault because I never called them to find out the progress. This is what I was told by the owner of the company who turned out to be the most arrogant, rude, self centred person who I emailed many times and received disturbing emails back blaming me for the dead line not met. This is a guy who is suppose to b running a business. No phone calls, no emails, no communication for the progress stages of the build of my pool.
If u thought that this was disappointing enough, the exervator that they used ended up destroying my driveway, my fence that I share with my neighbor, they destroyed the outside driveway and the foot path and the road. The workmanship was the worst I have ever seen, there was no care factor what so ever, the damage that was done was in excess of $8,000 to my property and public property.
When I approached and raised this alarming issue of the dramatic damage that they did, there response was ITS sometimes THE PRICE YOU PAY TO HAVE A POOLED INSTALLED.
I received no compensation what so ever in the end for the damage and the lack of respect for my property and public liability.
After submitting a lengthy email to Chris the owner which was 6 months ago stipulating that the final payment that I owed them for the completion stage was not going to be paid until they paid for the carnage and destruction that they so carelessly created.
Still to this date I have had no reply or no apology or no explanation what so ever.
To my disgust 7 months later I have received a invoice stipulating there final payment and legal action to b taken if I fail to pay. Can u believe this company.

Rude aggressive sales staff. When we approached management for assistance we received the same treatment from management. We stupidly paid a "sales commission" fee to get out of our contract - sales person deserved ZERO commission after his unprofessional aggressive text messages sent to us and disparraging messages about us meant for someone else, incorrectly sent to us. Management refused to follow up on this and on contractors emailing us with offers of cash jobs for major building works. Management was condescending and stated we were the first people to refuse offers of work "under the table". Would never recommend these contractors and will always suggest people do not utilise their services.

Can highly recommend Pools R Us. A real family business who know that their future success relies on great service and great product. They will pullout all the stops to deliver what you want when you want it. Thanks guys.

I have had a professional relationship with this company for 30 years as a competitor, supplier and contractor and found them to be reliable, professional and ethical. I note and congratulate Pools R Us for their sustained performance over many years testament by the large number of positive examples of customer satisfaction expressed on this page and other review sites.
With the thousands of pools built by this company it is incredible that the inevitable disgruntled customers rate no more than a couple and this disparity with satisfied customers tends to bring into question the legitimacy of the complaints given the complainants hide behind anonymity.
The complainant admits to not paying his account. It all boils down to the contract with both parties having obligations, one to perform the task the other to pay for it. In my experience in these matters the complainant should carefully read their contract (which is standardised across the industry). The contract sets out both parties obligations clearly and the vast majority of people have no difficulty with it.
The one positive is that a negative review adds substantial legitimacy to the many positive ones - the majority wins.

Extremely happy with the build and communication with PoolsRUs. Would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for. Swimming pool. Living the dream thanks to PoolsRUs.
