Very un-hygienic - the guy handled our cash and then used his bare hands, without washing them or using gloves to handle the food and make our pizza. Whilst making the next pizza he put a slice of tomato into his mouth - so disgusting!
We picked our pizza and got home and found it was black and burnt around the edges. We tried a piece and it tasted horrible too so we threw it out. We went to polo pizza because the pizza used to be very tasty and the was cleanly run. Unfortunately the standard all around has dropped drastically. We would have been better off getting a $5 Domino's pizza instead of paying 4 times the prize for something horrible in every sense.

They are willing to put whatever you want on any of their pizzas
I'm rather partial to chilli
Finished off the whole thing, just couldn't stop eating it

How can a pizza be overcooked and undercooked at the same time. This place does have a nice smell when you walk past. However tying it for the first time it was quite the disappointment. A frozen pizza from the supermarket would have tasted better which is shocking but true.

You can tell when a business needs good ratings from friends to try a balance out the ledger.

Didn't even get to try the product, 50 minutes for a take away pizza, really.oh well.

First time I tried their pizza I was definitely not impressed so as you do you give it another chance in the hopes it was just a bad night… 2nd time around it only got worse. Shame because when you walk past the shop you get that beautiful pizza smell but sadly the pizzas don’t match the aroma big thumbs down from me.so here comes the interesting part…. After writing my review I decided to read other reviews to see what most people thought of the food they ordered, to my surprise I came across immature replies from the owner not being able to handle criticism. Mate you now deserve no star at all and do yourself a favour and accept not everyone likes your food.for all those saying it’s the best pizza in town I’m guessing you’re comparing it to a frozen McCains pizza… clearly no taste buds

Very over priced pizza, cost $45 for a small gluten free & a large pizza, wasn’t a bad pizza but nothing special, definitely other pizza shops with much better pizzas for half the cost, that’s what you get for trying to support small business

This place is hard to rate. Mainly because it's different. A lot of places would not make pizza so dry with burnt crust. Capricosa, was very dry, as if they used old dry mushrooms, however this gives it a crunchy taste. I can clearly see how some ppl will prefer it. I was planing on rating them 1 or 2 stars, however my son gave them a rating of 4. So they got lucky with a 3. I have avoided them for 2 years due to the ratting but since it's 2 Jan, Heavens pizza was closed and they are so close to where I live. Unfortunately I won't be returning. Also the capricosa had a really nice base crust, crispy (despite the burn edges) where as the margarita had a thick crust, very doughy and soft. Best explanation is they lack consistency. Also they take a long time to make it, maybe why they are so dry. Overall if you are a fan of dry pizza and sometimes a good crunchy crust, try them, you might be a fan. If you are more into traditional Italian pizza, avoid them, this place best resembles bogan country style pizza:) like the one from the movie dirty deeds.

Their lasagna has no cheese at all on it.you have to request if you want cheese on your lasagna.

I ordered 3 pizzas online and was given a delivery time of just under 30 minutes.when the pizza hadn't arrived over an hour later, I called them. When I asked about the status of my order, I was advised another 20 minutes (no apology). I then cancelled the order. Obviously I can't comment on the quality of the pizzas, but the quality of service is poor, especially as I had to chase them up to find out where the pizzas were.

Great pizza. Best dough I had in a long time. Perfect texture, fluffy and delicious. I remember Polo Nord from the 1970s and the current owner continues the great tradition of excellent pizza.

Quality and consistency are the hallmarks of the hearty pizzas - no super thin Italian bases and minimalist toppings here! As this isn’t my local pizza shop, it’s been two years between visits, but it’s as good as ever. The quality, menu range and pizza sizes are outstanding. The customer service was flawless with me being offered a choice of three complimentary items due my order size. Even if you’ve got a closer local pizza shop, come here and you won’t be disappointed.

2019 Review (was 4)
An astonishing range of pizza - 53 pizza types in five sizes - which is consistently fresh, hearty and tasty. Do exercise caution with special offers as the staff can fail to ask which offer you want, and foist an unwanted offer upon you, denying you an alternative offer choice.

Great pizza with a fresh base, Toppings are generous and tasty, Overall it’s the best pizza in the area I have to recommend you pick up though as it’s such a popular place delivery will take forever but that’s a good sign their doing it right trust me.

When I entered the store I was served by the most polite young boy, he made me a fabulous pizza and gave me a good experience as a customer.
The shop is a little old and run down but the pizzas that they make are exceptional. I like their business motto too, "if you've tried the rest, come to polo for the best".

Buyer beware, the lasagna is sourced from a third party and kept frozen in their freezer for months and by the time you purchase it, it has gone terrible from all that time of being frozen in a freezer. On a more positive side, the pizzas are ok but delivery takes too long on saturdays and fridays and by the time the pizza arives its not hot, but room temperature.
You have to take the good with the bad comming here.

The pizzas the get made in this store are the BOMB!
My friend recomended this place to me about a year ago and the pizza was nice, only it did take a little while for the lady to make the pizza because they were very busy. I came in not long ago and didnt have to wait very long and the pizza was dynamite. Next time I'm in brunswic I'll come back to polo for another snak!

I've had a pizza here many times over the years and the pizzas have always been juicy and the pastry bottom has always been nice and fluffy.
Highly recommended

I thought the pizzas that I received from polo pizza were the best I've ever had.
The dough was puffy with air bubbles in it and the flavour of the ingredients on top were delightful.
Probably the best pizza shop in the area.
