Pollen - Bành Mì, Coffee & Objects reviews
10Hidden gem in Kyneton! Got 2 vegan tofu buns + a chai — everything was a 10/10, including the super friendly service and great vibe the place had! Thank you for having us, we will be back soon!
Pollen has the most delicious coffee, Bahn Mi and such a friendly, community atmosphere. I love it.
Looks like a new kid on the block… nice snug atmosphere.friendly service at the counter… couple of good seats in window… didn’t try courtyard… walls might do with a bit of decoration? Felt a bit too bare?
This place is a gem on the High Street. Delicious food, a great atmosphere and the most excellent coffee. The courtyard is the perfect place to hang out in the sun or shade of a tree. It’s my go to for a gorgeous range of locally made ceramics, jewellery and wooden gifts and I’m so glad it’s right here in Kyneton.
Not all those who wander are lost. If you are lucky, a little wander will bring you to Pollen.
Great staff! Great stuff!
Has a very cute vibe in there definitely the definition of country vibe️
Great strong cold simple coffee on ice - perfect on a warm day. Friendly service, interesting menu.
I do hate to be negative but our experience at Pollen really didn’t have much positive about it. Firstly, if your main thing to serve is Banh Mi and not much else- please have enough rolls to last the day! We went in at 1.20pm and were told they didn’t have any rolls left- disappointing but there was also two toastie options to choose from. After ordering the toasties we waited for about 50 minutes and decided to leave before they arrived as we just didn’t have time to wait all day and the people who came in to the cafe after us got their toasties 10 minutes before hand. 1 star for the cafe and courtyard, it was quite cute and cozy however the vibe was ruined by rude staff. I understand places can have off days, especially when they are short staffed, but our experience was just ridiculous. Hopefully we can go back and try some actual Ba Minh one day, in a timely fashion.
This is a local gem. You probably wouldn’t find it as tourist, tucked in as it is on a corner. Super welcoming place, great coffees and they have these insanely good Icelandic sweet treats. Never had them anywhere else.
