Pole Dance Addiction

A group of us went here for a trial class with Sarah. She was patient, funny and we all had a great time. Sarah showed us some basics, and even threw in a few extra moves to challenge us. The venue was quite large and well equipped, 2 classrooms and a separate practice area that all felt clean and well maintained.

I love the studio at pole dance addiction! The owners Mel and Andy really try to get you know you as an individual. All the instructors are so professional, friendly and welcoming. Everyone is so friendly over there and the place is clean. They make you feel at ease. I highly highly recommend the studio to anyone looking to start pole. It’s my favourite place. I highly recommend it so if you’re thinking of starting pole, this is definitely the place!

Absolutely amazing pole studio, I never expected to feel so comfortable and supported when I started pole dance instead of jointing a gym, but the staff and students in this place encouraged me to push toward my goals. What driven bunch of people.

Pole Dance Addiction is such a friendly place. I personally loved learning to do tricks on the pole. Such a fun way to keep fit! All the teachers are amazing. Mel and Andy have worked so hard to get the business up and running, and it shows. Highly recommended for all the family. My daughter introduced me to pole fitness and my son was also a student. This place is like my second home. Everyone here is supportive and welcoming, I couldn't ask for a better sporting community. The facilities are fantastic and the timetable has lots of options from beginners right up to advanced. I was nervous about starting pole because of the negative stigma associated with it, however I have not found a sport so far that has made me as confident in my skills and abilities, or one that has offered the amazing friendships I have developed. If anyone is looking for a studio to try, I would highly recommend Pole Dance Addiction.

Pole Dance Addiction is like a second home! The staff & students are welcoming & the studio is light, bright & beautiful. I've tried quite a few studios in Melbourne & nothing else compares to PDA!

My absolute favourite place. I have been coming here for 9 months and I feel like a part of the family already. They have a great variety of classes and teachers so you can explore various styles. The studio feels spacious and open and everyone is really friendly. There's a sense of community amongst the people attending this studio and there's nothing better than being greeted by Kaos (the dog) as you open the door! PDA is welcoming, inclusive and if you have any concerns or questions, the owners are very happy to answer them and put your mind at ease.

Pole dancing changed my life, but more important Pole Dance Addiction in Blackburn changed my life. I've been attending this studio since it opened and can honestly say it is one of the most welcoming and supportive environments. I have developed great self confidence and self esteem, and would never have been able to do that without the support of this studio.

Great place for older gentlemen to have fun. There are plenty of young talented dancers there to watch. If you have a child or not they will let you pay a spectators price of $3 where you can sit on the benches and watch. The manager knew the score and was very accommodating, much cheaper than the local night clubs.

Downside. The performers kept most of their clothes on throughout the session and parking wasn't good.
The bar only served juice boxes and raisins.

PDA has been the most inclusive community I've been a part of. People from all walks of life come together to get stronger and learn cool tricks. I feel super lucky to be a part of this community and a massive thanks to Mel and Andy for setting up such a supportive space with great utilities.
