Doggy good reviews, the centre management use their own account to have rated themselves 5 star here, that's pathetic.spent time and effort on the children you care, they bring you money at least.

I can't recommend Point Cook Play and Learn highly enough.
As a mother who works very long hours I am without hesitation leaving my little girl at Point Cook Play and Learn.
My daughter, as well as the other kids are always happily playing outside eating their afternoon tea, and exploring the beautiful parks, schools and shops. These are one in a million experiences that Guardian offer.
All the staff are just beautiful! They communicate daily with the parents and most importantly they love, educate and nurture each child like their own.
Of the early child hood centres both my children have attended, Guardian Point Cook Play and Learn get my vote for early learning child care.

My Daughter attends this early learning centre, and I am very pleased with the program and practice it offers to my child. The Educators are very passionate about their roles as educators and have undertaken a large amount of training and courses to give the children the best start to their early childhood learning. Point cook play and learn Create a learning environment within which my child and others can develop socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically they also are meeting all areas of the national quality standards while Striving to successfully implement the National Quality framework to the highest standards. The centre is etablishing a well maintained, resourced and clean environments with beautiful soft furnishings that create a home-like atmosphere.
In terms of the “screen learning time”
Australian national and state preschool curriculum documents promote learning through technology. For example, the national Early Years Learning Framework “Belonging, Being and Becoming” highlights the importance of young children having access to and use of digital technologies.
Within the EYLF, one learning outcome is “to identify the uses of technologies in everyday life and use real or imaginary technologies as props in their play” (Learning Outcome 5, Children are effective communicators, p. 44). This Outcome proposes that educators can support learning by providing children with opportunities to “integrate technologies into children’s play experiences and projects. ”
children across the centre who have different ways of learning; tactile, visual, exploring, hands on etc and there are children who do not speak English as a first language. Some children do not join in at group times and it is important to use different learning strategies to cater for all children and encourage their participation. At various times through the week Teachers will use the computers to play visual story books, songs and multicultural music for the children and these books and songs are an educational tool to encourage and promote inclusion among the group. Which I remember in my schooling we used a lot of documentaries and movies to help us under stand about a subject that we were learning and to help extend on our learning.
As a Teacher and a parent I appreciate the passionate educators of this service who not only help my child thrive on a successful learning adventure but help scaffold the learning to help her achieve her goals and help her become the confident involved learner that she is destined to become.

"I, as part of the Leadership at Point Cook Play and Learn, feel proud to be in a team striving to ensure children and families experience a high quality service. Digital technology is used only as an educational tool with secure age appropriate content and part of our high quality curriculum. We have experienced overwhelming positive feedback, we are reflective, we listen with open hearts and build upon our strong relationships with families. We ensure the children's care and education is individual, interest based, heaps of fun with lovely qualified educators who care deeply for the children's well being. It's a privilege to care for children and I'm honored to be part of this fantastic service"

The chef is amazing and educators seem lovely but would never send my child here again. They see it as perfectly ok to use screen time as a babysitting tool most days of the week and when confronted with the literature outlining numerous adverse impacts on the child’s development refused to consider that the practice was not ideal. If that’s what you want then save your money and leave your kid in front of the tv at home!

We had our son in the day care for 2 months. We had a very disappointing incident. Our son fell down while playing and had deep wound on his knees and only when my wife came to pick up she noticed the knee bleeding and thats when the carer discovered about the injury. Upon finding out first they did was to bring an paper for my wife to sign that it was an accident and that parents have no complain. Due to unawareness my wife signed, which could otherwise have been reported as negligence on carer’s part. Injury is a common incident but letting the wound dirty and not noticing was our major concern and we had to remove our son from this careless place.

What a fantastic centre! Both my girls attended Point cook play and learn for 18months. They learnt so much from the staff here who also took the time to get to know the girls and love them like one of their own. The communication with families is fantastic and it is such a warm and welcoming centre. I would highly recommend Point cook play and learn. We miss you already:)

It's so Sad to see such a bad review for a fantastic Childcare Centre. I find it extremely surprising that Point Cook Play and Learn has received such a harsh review and wonder if we are talking about the same centre.

We started at this Centre 5 1/2 years ago, with our last baby just 6 months old. She loves all the staff, children and front office staff. Over the years with adjustment issues the staff were always caring and supportive.

I am sad to say that this is her last year as she's going to school in the new year. As a mother of 4, had I known how great this centre is I would have sent my older 3 children here too. From the buttom of my Heart Thank you to All the staff who have looked after my baby, especially her Daycare Mum, we will miss you all dearly and we will never be able to repay you for the fantastic roles you played in our lives.

Awful service; zero communication; bad attitude; yelling; so many mistakes and not even trying to fix.

Good staff. My LO is 4 year old and I can see she is happy and learning new activity frequently than compared to her last child care
