The man who works their with the rats tail hair is horrible, I’ve seen him yell at customers and I will never return. Disgusting.

Very good chicken store. Has all cuts of chicken, including various stir frys made up with veg ready to cook. I get these a lot and they are always fresh and tasty. Worth trying.

It’s very annoying that they have a $10 minimum spend on eftpos. Had no cash and the transaction was under $10. They wouldn’t accept my card.
I left it. Went to the other chicken shop and paid by card with no minimum spend.

Lost my business bc they’re trying to save on bank fees.

Old mate there needs to retire or just chop it out in the back. Leave the customer service to the young chooks there. No ones wants to interact with a old grumpy miserable thing. Also chicken mince was EXPIRED.

The staff here are very friendly! The product is top quality. The staff have a wealth of knowledge and were able to provide me with advice on how to prepare the meal. Highly recommend!

I had a bizarre experience. Arrogant, customer service. (This is not normally the case). Until today, I have received excellent service from all the other staff. Today though, had me questioning myself and I am still scratching my head over it. I phoned Plucka Forest Hill at approximately 1p.m. Today, Saturday 20th February, spoke to a man with a Irish accent (my first and last experience with him). I asked if he had a whole chicken deboned and butterflied, which he said he was in the process of preparing for another customer because he had sold out. I asked if I could order one and that I would be there in 20 minutes. Was not an issue and he asked me to let him know when I had arrived. I did that, only to be told that no one had called the store for over two hours and that I must have called the wrong shop? Mind you, he spoke with an Irish accept AND was deboning a chicken! What are the chances! Go figure. I did buy the chicken and when I got home, I checked the ticket on the packaging and then my phone.same number. I am still baffled as to why someone would so blatantly lie about lack of phone calls, especially to a paying customer trying to support this business. I will now be shopping elsewhere in the centre where there is better customer service and poultry.

The owner was very rude almost swearing! I had a small order under $10, so he wouldn’t accept eftpos and talked bad that about not being a regular. Made me feel so embarrassed. I lodged a complaint with the shopping centre and the reception told me this has happened several times with Plucka chicken. Will never shop there again!

Their products are always good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I've been getting my chicken meals from here for years - still do, and I don't even live in Forest Hill anymore, but it's worth the trip.

Frankly, I won't buy my poultry anywhere else.

Beautifully fresh produce, including less-common items like gizzards and chicken hearts (which we buy to make fresh pet food at home). They're happy to explain how to get the best out of what you buy, from cooking times to length of time the items can be kept before/after cooking. They even make their plain schnitzels without an egg-wash, which is great for folks like me with food allergies!

Our favourite polutary in the area. Owen and staff are known to provide the best service in town. They sell La Ionica chicken which use a chemicals (bleach) free processing method. This polutary unlike any other has a range of different options. For example they sell stir frys, chicken sausages, chicken patties, kebabs, and many more. Roasted chicken are also available if you are in a hurry for a quick meal.

A fresh and wonderful poultry butcher with some great premarinated chicken in skewers and pieces.

Fantastic family business, fresh daily, many different choices for a quick meal to amazing feasts. The staff also extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them to help with. PLUCKA CHICKEN is my foul hang out. Make it yours too.
