Staff were slow in letting patrons in and weren't paying attention to people which was disappointing. Chairs are comfortable. Not enough toilets for the amount of seats in the venue so waited 15minutes at interval.

We bought tickets to watch The Holiday last night only to have the doors open at 5pm for a show that started at 5: 15. The first 15 minutes of the show was complete chaos due to people still streaming in due to the late entrance time. If you are going to start a show please ensure you open the doors at least 30 minute prior to the show to allow the volume of people a chance to be seated before the start of the show. Having flashlights shining everywhere to get people seated was a complete distraction. Very poor Planetary management.

Went for a function, the background screen made it easy to see from the baxk of the theatre.very nice place. After function finger food was excellent and plentiful

A lovely Theatre in a very handy location.
On site parking is easy to find,
my tip is to book on line for easy entry and exit.
Close to crown and other attractions.

Watched Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse live in concert. Seating was comfortable and view was great from everywhere

Lovely, comfortable venue with good sound. Great area for concerts, performances or presentations. Best to enter from Conference Centre Place to gain quick access.it's long walk if you enter close to crown.

Venue was great, but getting out of the car park after the show was ridiculous. Car didn't move for 30 minutes and everyone kept honking their horns

Easy to get to from Southern Cross about a 10 min walk, cross over beautiful Wayfarer's Bridge. Nice size venue for concerts, speakers etc. Huge concourse space with multiple food carts and lots of seating. And tonight, because I was taking photos, I noticed some of the Plenary's interesting architectural features. Actually I've been here 3 times. Once for a Doctor Who concert (music from the show, narrator and multiple Daleks and Cybermen roaming around!), once to hear Neil Degrasse Tyson (physicist) speak and tonight, 8.4.23 for the Doobie Brothers 50th anniversary concert. And the concert was amazing, Doobie Brothers sounded so good! So many hits. Loved it!

Went to Bluesfest here. The audio was awesome and the artists were clearly heard from the rear.

Very poor sound system. Blaring scratchy. Came back with a headache and blocked ears. The seating outside the plenary is rock hard. Hurt my back as I expected it to be cushioned. It is very low and as we try to sit we literally plonk only to realise it is hard plywood with a 5 mm thin sponge sheet covered by fabric. Opportunity for a law suit.
To the manager, I could respond to your reply hence this edit.
I have attended 4-5 shows in the last two years, the latest being on Sunday 23 Apr 2023 6 pm

Good parking, good staff and good theatre acoustics. Seats aren't particularly comfortable.

Went to the theatre to see Steve-O's Bucket List Tour on 11/3/23, good clean venue. The main downfall was that the bar staff seemed completely swamped- this isn't their fault at all and it's definitely more that the venue should have put on more staff for thousands of thirsty bogans.

The sound was excellent, the visual angles were great. The staff were helpful and lovely. The only complaint I could possibly have is that leg room was cramped even for me at 164cm tall.

I attended the MHS speech night in this Theatre for the first time. I didn't know we had a theatre in the exhibition centre. The hall looks like a concert hall. At the night it ease setup south the whole Orchestra.
Outstanding performances by the outgoing year 12 students. It is amazing to see what is possible when you focus on getting great results and achievement.
Kudos to all the teachers who work tirelessly with the students assuring their success.

Great location, parking was easy, the venue itself was large, comfortable and easy to navigate. Staff were helpful and friendly!

There aren't nearly enough toilets to go around, and the seats don't have enough leg room for people of my height. But the real problem was the coffee queue - it took 15min just to get through the queue to place my order, and then another 20min before my coffee was made! At the prices they charge, they could afford to put more people on and train them to get the job done quicker.

Very beautiful setting for up to 10000 people. A lot of exit outlets and entrance points. But it took 10 minutes walk from the centre entrance to the theatre. There were stalls along the pathway

There was a dance show going on and it was amazing! Although for someone like me with astigmatism it was a bit too far to see the faces of the performers but that was a good experience overall. Great place to spend time with kids if there's a show. There are multiple toilets all around the building so there is no queue when a show is over. There is 9nly one coffee place and you'll see a long queue there, better to walk outside if there's a break between the shows and use the many outdoor coffeshops.
