I have completed the filial therapy program and could not be more satisfied.
The program is clear, transparent and ultimately a safe space to learn.
My ability to connect with my children has significantly improved- I am learning how to manage bigger feelings and feel I am understanding triggers better now.
In this fast paced life, I am now able to allocate some special time with each of my children. It allows me the ability to connect and slow down our fast paced lifestyles in an intimate and profound way.
It has also made me look inward and helps me manage flooding feelings and moments every parent experiences - losing control.
I cannot thank Play Therapy Hub enough. Since finishing the course, you remain in contact with me and have taught me so much. You make the often intimidating idea of learning as an adult, easy, approachable and eye opening!

I have been surprised at the transformation in my son. Play therapy helped him to overcome his fears, gain confidence, and make friends. My son and I had a very difficult and isolated life (before covid) with extreme anxiety, social and emotional issues. Jean helped us both to cope well with everyday struggles, unearth the skills and abilities, and to live a happy and normal life. Looking back at our family life, it seems unreal that how far we have come. We could have not had achieved this without the support of Jean. Thank you Jean.

As the manager of a childcare centre I engaged Play Therapy Hub to come on board and support my team with guiding children's behavior, supporting my team to understand how children regulate and grow developmentally within their emotional and social wellbeing. We found these ongoing coaching sessions very informative, well planned and tailored to our needs. Helen taught me how to be empathetic towards my children before we educate them. It's the empathy that is most vital and it's not always about fixing the problem. It's great having someone to talk too about issues your having at home with your Children. The play aspect at home which is 30 mins a week is a great way to connect with your child and have that quality time with them. Thankyou Helen for changing the way I connect with my children.

Play Therapy Hub kindly ran a parent webinar for our families at Ashley Park Primary School where they presented on how a child's brain develops, what is anxiety and how do we manage it? What is resilience and how do we work towards it? They were extremely knowledgeable in their presentation and made the information understandable for all who attended. They provided some clear strategies that our families can start to implement in their own homes to build independence in children.
