PLAY ‘N’ GROW Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten

We have been apart of the Sparrow family since October 2022. After I made the nerve wracking decision to place my babies into a daycare care whilst I returned to work, I found referrals through mums groups for sparrow that matched what I was looking for. I sit here today forever grateful for my experience with the sparrow team. They love my babies like their own and that as a mother is the only thing that makes me be able to comfortably separate from my young ones for long days. I am so thankful and appreciative of the team and how they do what they do each day. Thank you for all that you have done loving, teaching, guiding and caring for our children. Team sparrow Carrum Downs, we love you!

Went here as a child, place was great, cracked my head open on a window sill, overall good time.

I walked past this place with my dog and witnessed an indian woman absolutely screaming at the children inside the playground and then snatched something out of another childs hand and they were terrified i saw other younger staff in their 20s just chatting in a corner allowing this woman to do this to them DISGUSTING. If people saw the way these people were looking after their kids when they were at work they would die. It was that bad i looked them up to write this review!

Play N Grow is the best centre around. The educators are professional, friendly and caring. The Service Manager and 2IC have provided great communication to the families throughout my children's attendance. I have had 3 children attend Play N Grow and they have all benefited from being here.

The staff are friendly and passionate about the children. A modern very clean centre. Communication is excellent. My daughter has been there since nursery now in pre kinder. Her educators have gone above and beyond. They take the time to listen to her needs and when upset really comfort her. They’re understanding, caring and really spend time with each individual child working with them on their needs. Making sure they’re thriving and happy. Couldn’t recommend them higher.

We started our daughter here as a 6mo and can't imagine being anywhere else! She is now nearly 2 and is learning so much every day. At drop off she runs in with excitement and has the most beautiful relationships with her educators. The food served is healthy, well balanced and varied. Educators are friendly, knowledgeable and open and the service in general is professional, clean and communicative - not to mention well managed. Five stars from our family.

Our son gets so excited when he knows he going to "school", so we know he loves it too!

All the staff continually go above and beyond to provide a loving, nurturing and educational environment for our son.

The staff constantly adapt the learning to our son's interests and ensure he is engaged, learning & growing every day!

The staff are always nice & friendly and the centre is well kept, they clearly look after the children very well while they're there, but I'm becoming concerned over the number of times that my child is sent home "sick". Its happening very regularly, I'm not sure if they are being to overly cautious or if its maybe a money making thing - as you still have to pay full rates for the total time your child isn't allowed to attend. Jury's out, 3 Stars.

My 2yo daughter absolutely loves going to childcare. The educators there are really nice and helpful, I use their recommended app Storypark to communicate with them and they always response very quickly.
Everytime I pick up my daughter, she always give the staff a few hugs and kisses before she waves goodbye, i think this is a sign of showing how much she likes the ladies there. Lunch menu is emailed to us and looks delicious and a range of international food varieties. Love it!

My grandchild began attending after a bad experience at a different creche and our family was welcomed warmly and we have never looked back. The staff are friendly, caring and my grandchild is always happy to go to creche and often doesn't want to go home at the end of the day. This is comforting to our family after our previous experience.

Very poor centre alway different staff working no consistency with the children’s learning and only about moving children up classes to get more money in the centre.

The girls are wonderful to deal with. My child has never been excited to attend creche. Would highly recommend doing a tour and saying hello.

Outstanding care from all educators and management throughout the centre. Couldn't fault a thing and would recommend to anyone we know.
