Play Central Port Melbourne

Wanted to share my experience so that it doesn't happen to other people. I did a 3 hour trial shift which I was told before hand was paid, after my trial they completely stopped contact with me. It would have been fine if I had of received a text saying that they don't think I'm a good fit and if I received payment, but they just completely ghosted. Its not good enough, don't tell people it's a paid trial if you're not willing to pay. Its almost as if they got me in for a busy Saturday and had no intention of ever following up.

Nice play centre, however little kids area wasn't clean (a lot of food waste every where) and had broken plastic were my swallowed a piece of that. It's a bit of hazard for kids

Reasonable child play centre. All the stuff in good condition and well padded. Cafe selection looked good. Spent an hour and a half there with a 10 month old who seemed to enjoy it. I expect it won't be the last time.

We come here all the time, the staff are fantastic and heaps of variety for the kids to play with for all ages

We had our 3 yr Olds birthday party here. Play Centre is really nice and location suits most people. Service from their staff was A+. Highly recommend this place

Staff a rude and appear to hate their job also pay $21.00 which I did so my daughter can play the bumper cars yet can not be told how long till they will allow kids on them at 12pm with many of kids in the centre to allow it to run

The play centre was spacious and big but you don’t want your kids crawling around a space where there are rodents running around! I witnessed a little mouse just roaming around the centre and the staff didn’t seem too bothered by it! Gross! It was my first time there and my last! Not happy! Don’t think it will pass the health and safety audit at all!

Not bad as play centres go. I wasn’t that impressed with the safety though — there is a ‘climb up the volcano’ thing that had very insufficient padded floor area around it (only about 1m) and the whole play centre was done in a rubberised flooring which was way too hard — almost hard enough to cut your feet on its sharp edges. Also they have these pneumatic ball guns which are so loud they are actually at hearing-damaging levels (see my screenshot of a noise pressure app showing the loudness).

Big place with many different kids games. Kids areas, sitting and facilities are very clean. Recommended kids play centre.

Very nice and spacious! Well maintained. Very good air con and well lit. Beautiful party rooms. Welcoming service. Loved it!

Loved this place. A little pricey compared to others but understandable given its location. Kids had a blast. Coffee was good!

Really unhygienic, just because it’s a kids play centre doesn’t mean you can just leave it filthy. Apart from the general Mess and uncleanliness (toilets were gross) all of the party rooms, parties obviously finished long ago had so much food and mess just sitting there. We only stayed for 5 mins as it was very unacceptable. Do not recommend.

Honestly.if I could give this zero stars I would! Disturbing, unhygienic and filthy inside!

Nothing is put away and the place is an utter mess! We walked out after 5 minutes!

Never seen a kids play centre or anything for that matter so disgusting in my life.

Dodgem cars are good and something different. However the rest is a bit average, tired and the air compressor cannons are too noisy the whole time.

2 staffs (1 lady at the reception, 1 lady at the cafe) are unfriendly as they are racist. Toilets are not clean, food for babies and kids are limited. Price is not worthy.

Good space. Always alot of kids and parties. Limited parking, arrive early.

Ordered two rounds of coffee today, waited literally 45 minutes for each of the rounds to turn up at the table. First round had 4 drinks and second, two. Staff on the coffee machine were literally making one coffee at a time. Waiting for the coffee to drip and finish. Then heating up the milk.

$48.00 for entry for 6 adults and a 2.5 year old kid. $50.00 for coffees, bowl of chips and crossiant. Food and drinks reasonably priced for a play centre. The wait, really not a good experience.

Waiting for the coffees was literally the most excruciating wait as the staff seemed not to care about how long people were waiting for even asking numerous times.

Suggest ordering your coffees when you first arrive if you think you night want one within 40 minutes.

The place is dead and so rundown. All the toys are either broken or do not work. Very untidy and disorganised.
Disappointing, not worth another visit.

Kids had a great time, needs a really good clean, zero customer service and communication skills. Very disappointed with price paid, will not be back again.

Paid entry fee to find this mess. Should have stayed home to clean up my own house for free rather than wasting time and money at this place

$50 to bring a birthday cake in for an adult just to bring the cake in, good for little kids but that is it. Overpriced entry for what's here not coming again.
