Platypus

Just went in to collect a click and collect order, been greeted by a lovely brown hair girl on the store floor who has passed my query onto the tall blonde hair staff member who has refused to get my order number and rudely insisted to tell her what exactly is into the order bag and order has been put under my name! As I have been nominated to Coll on behalf.lot’s of trouble! And on top of that she didn’t check the box and gave me one shoe only! So I had to go back in Southland store to get the other one missing! I do understand that mistakes happen but it’s about the behaviour of the Staff member had a hostile attitude towards me that made me really uncomfortable today. I really felt so sorry about the other kind staff member who really looked so embarrassed by how I have been treated today! Sorry to say but this is not proper customer service can absolutely assure you!

Absolutely do not recommend going to this store!

Certain staff members definitely need upskilling in customer service. Customer service always a priority to all retail!

Literally the nicest girls ever served us. They were so friendly and we had an incredible conversation. They were extremely helpful and ensured we were able to get the right size and offered us suggestions. Great experience overall cant wait to go back.

When my size wasn’t in store the woman tired to suggest some similar products which was great. However when I asked about the grip of the shoe (considering I work in hospo and needed grippy shoes) the lady ensured me that the grip was fantastic and that I would have no problems. Ha, what a joke that was. The shoe she sold me was far from grippy. She defiantly just wanted a sale. Not happy and I will not return as I think this is terrible customer service and in fact decreases sales in the long run

The lady with blond hair, hat on, green pants, white top was very impolite to us. After trying our shoes, we tried to tell her it’s too tight, she turned away and plays with her hair. No hello, no smiles, not even letting us finish our feed back. Manager should review her employment.

Helpful staff, however a little bit involved and the wait was pretty exhausting. I suppose that's not their fault though, given the current situation.

Great service but 1 star off because they are no longer stocking Onitsuka Tigers at the Southland store. Staff offered to put the order through on-line for it to have them delivered so A+ for effort. Bought another brand this time around.

Had the best experience in store tonight, for a Friday night. I was greeted with a friendly smile, quick service and a good laugh!

Yet another shoe shop where staff think they are out of this world. You sell shoes.not that there's anything wrong with that.

This is literally the WORST platypus store I've ever dealt with. I ordered some shoes through them as they did not have my size and so they assured me if I ordered them from another store into theirs I would receive them in 1-2 days.
That was a week and a half ago and I've called so often to find out where the hell my shoes are and I get barely any response or I get told another 1-2 days.

The worst thing about this entire ordeal is that I have already paid for the shoes as I was convinced this was the better option by the sales lady.

Do yourself a favour and go to another Platypus store or just go to another shoe store all together. It's nothing but a headache.

If I could give no stars, I would.
