My partner went into your store on the 23/12/23 to try on some shoes, the male staff member new nothing about the products and the girl was so disinterested in providing any sort of service to her whatsoever.e

Went in to browse but Riley gave me the best service I could have imagined and I walked out with my first new pair of shoes in 4 years! They knew a bunch of cool facts about the Palladium brand which won me over, made sure I tested multiple sizes of the shoes, and checked the fit for me as well. They were incredibly personable, friendly, funny, and I hope everyone can shop here and get the same experience I had. Riley also made sure to tell me about all the extra deals in store and how to care for my new shoes. I can't wait to go back and see them again for my next pair (which will be sooner than 4 years away, I promise). I want management to celebrate Riley and see all the great work they put into their job.

Monique was able to rectify an issue I had experienced with a young male staff member back in October in a matter of minutes. My issue was dealt with in both an understanding and professional manner. Thank you again!
Platypus shoes should base their customer service training using the experienced staff members like her. Having staff that care about their customers and the business they represent is a rarity these days.
As explained I will be back as Platypus has such a diverse range of quality shoe products.

After experiencing poor customer service with skechers, tried platypus shoes, staff member more than helpful. Will definetly come back and shop here again.

I walked in and was looking around (no one else in the store)
The two guys working today completely ignored me didn’t look at me or even ask if I needed help.
Went next door to Skechers and they have way better customer service skills compared to Platypus

I went to knox store today to return a Christmas gift.with platapus label on the box, i didnt think a simple exchange would be a problem? I spoke to the store manager James who i found to be extreamly rude from when i entered the store not helpful at all, i didn't have a receipt but the label was clearly on the box he clearly went out of his way to not be helpful and exhange the shoes i said to James that i too am in retail and we are more lenient at Christmas.

He kept repeating that he could do nothing for me without a receipt.
I asked if he could call his area manager? He went out the back to call came out and said i told you she said no.
He proceeded to further insult me over and over by telling me next time i enter a store not to start by stating that I'm in retail? Wow! He simply did not want me to have the exchange and told me that he has been in retail for 16 years
And i should know better.
It the accured to me that my sons girlfriend might on the data base so i asked him to check he pretended to not be able to find her and futher said it's still not proof of purchase i said it most certainly is.he disagreed
I couldn't believe he was still arguing with me.he the pretended to find her and finally gave me a credit note.
As he handed it it to me he was telling me not to come in the store next time a start by telling him that i was in retail.

I was gobsmacked and furious you would think his first question when i entered the store with all of his16 years of experience would be to see if my sons gilrfriend was a memeber and in the system which she was.extream lack of customer service.
I said to him how would he like it if someone treated him the same way for a simple exchange?
I also think the area manger should have seen some sense to overide it.
James you clearly need to find your manners and have some serious training on how to talk to customers and be more understanding.
You also made a big error in the fact that you could have returned the product and upsell me something more.
I found Liam to be more mature as he apologised on James's behalf and asked if he could further help.
I definitely will not shop with platapus again.i found the situation extreamly uncomfortable to say the least.

This is a favourite shoe store when visiting Knox City. Vans or no Vans, it's hard to beat Platypus Shoes!

Usually pretty good but today the girl with curly blondish hair completely ignored me and offered to help everyone else even though i has been in the store for a while.thankfully someone else served me.

Went in to try shoes, only customer in store and the sales assistant was more interested in dusting shelves than assisting me with shoes. I showed her a picture of the shoes I wanted and she said she didn’t have them. Didn’t look on the computer, and then I ended up seeing them myself.

Asked her where a particular brand of sneakers was and she pointed me to where they were. I asked her for a size and she advised they were men’s sizes. I asked her for women’s sizes and she advised that they are scattered amongst the men’s sizes. I asked her to show me women’s styles and she advised I had to look inside the shoes for a specific code to indicate they were women’s.

The service wasn’t great, and not much help. As I really wanted the shoes I will source it from somewhere else.

Bought a pair of Nike Air Max's on the 28th of September today's the 29th and the seam on one of the shoes has already come apart

Good place but still expensive. I see they put the online sales for selected items. Other items heavily priced. Can get better price online. With other providers

I always buy here your workers are very blunt all I wanted was a bloody shoe to buy to bad they think work is a social club! No customer service word of advice get new workers

Bought shoes here but felt like the guy serving us didnt really know what he was talking about.they coud do with some more training perhaps

I was looking to buy a particular style of a particular shoe that was apparently out of season and so I couldn't find it anywhere. Allthough they didn't have the shoe in stock in my size they allowed me to try on a different style of the shoe to get the size and then express shipped a pair from NSW in 2 days for no extra cost for me. They went above and beyond to get me the product i wanted and for that they deserve 5 stars.

James is an absolute angel. I can't thank him enough for his effort to get me my fav dr martens ️
