Platter Pantry Fromagerie Cafe reviews
21Lovely cafe and nice food, we were there at not so busy time but service was a bit slow, might not come back for a while.
This place is such a little hidden treat, they somehow consistently put out quality food. Grazing boxes ordered for my loved ones have been greatly appreciated, & popping in for either a savoury or sweety snack is always worthwhile. Could not recommend them enough.
Have got the sandwich and baguette box multiple times. Perfect for meetings with clients, looks very professional and most importantly is delicious. The staff are lovely and so helpful as well!
We love Platter Pantry. Every time we have been here the food, drinks, service and vibe have been wonderful. Highly recommend
Breakfast here this morning was the highlight of my life. Make what you will of the breakfast or my life, I can die a happy man.
I’ve been an avid fan of Platter Pantry for ages, it’s my go to café restaurant and never disappoints.
The food is always perfect, the atmosphere is just beautiful and the staff are wonderful.
It’s also a brilliant venue for intimate celebrations.
We held our daughter’s wedding shower at Platter Pantry in March 2023 and it was spectacular. Every one of our guests super impressed.
I believe we’re so fortunate to have a venue this unique in our neighbourhood and I hope we can all support business just like this.
What a gem hidden away next to the station! I wish I'd found it earlier. Always beautiful quality food and great service. By far the best café around! And the grazing boxes are a lovely treat for a special occasion.
Well deserved accolades to this little place. A slice of heaven in an out of the way location. Worth a visit and a meal!
If you’re hungry don’t do the bottomless brunch. Minimal food and awful service. Drinks took min 30 mins to arrive after ordering.
I even asked for simple water jugs for the table 3 times in 1 hour!
Abit disappointing
Our order for platters for our daughters wedding were amazing not just extremely tasty but also presented beautifully
The coffee is spot on, some of the best we have tried and the carrot cake is to die for. Well done platter pantry!
Dropped in for afternoon snack — coffee and a danish, chai latte and a croissant — and got to choose a table. So we sat by the window overlooking the railway big build making glacial progress. Didn’t need the time though as our order arrived promptly. It was a cosy spot in a restaurant room with a french decor. Good value. Lots of parking in the shopping centre next door.
Went on a Sunday, for a 3pm coffee and a bite to eat - which may be a reason I wasn't fully impressed with the food. I wouldn't expect a Cafe to have fresh pastries or anything beyond 12pm, anyway. So try it at another time if you're curious.
Staff are friendly and chatty. The ambience made the day feel so still and calm, as if time stopped. I was able to enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful day, with a nice warm mug of coffee. Would definitely recommend.
Check out the attached pantry, too. Some good products and everything seems eco friendly which is a huge bonus.
Great food options with reasonable prices and great service. On our spontaneous visit, they made room for the four of us, which was greatly appreciated since they were quite full. The French hot chocolate with crème was delicious, as well as the Bacon Eggs Benedict, Chili Scrambled Croissant, French Onion Soup & Apple Pie French Toast. Highly recommend paying a visit to this beautiful cafe.
This is my favourite local cafe, the food is amazing, service is fantastic, if you love hot chocolate you need to try the French hot chocolate
Very nicely decorated and cozy restaurant, ideal for a date night or small group. All the food we had was very good including the beef cheek, lamb ragu pasta, lemon curd pavlova and chocolate tart. The portion sizes were ideal for me and my wife and the pasta had a reasonable amount of meat (which is not always the case with pasta dishes) however bigger eaters may find the portions a bit smaller than average. The mains were reasonably priced however the shared appetizers, cheese boards and desserts seemed a bit overpriced. I would like to go there again to try some of the smaller dishes such as the baked camembert, however there a limited number of main course options on their menu at the moment, with only 5 items including 1 vegetarian option. Given that it is a French themed restaurant, the chicken schnitzel burger doesn’t seem to belong on the menu. It would be nice if they had a couple of other classic French dishes on the menu. Despite that, I would recommend anyone give this restaurant a try.
This is by far the BEST cafe I have ever been to! I come here often and I cannot fault one thing - every single item on the menu is made with fantastic ingredients, cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. I’ve also had a few grazing boxes and they are unbeatable every time. Sam and the team provide excellent customer service and I feel appreciated and looked after every time I walk through the door. Do yourself a huge favour and go to Platter Pantry - you will not regret it
Just had Mother's day High Tea! It was fabulous. The atmosphere, staff and food were the best. They went all out to make it such a special day.
Lovely food, though I felt the onion soup, at $17, was excessively expensive. The service was friendly but I felt we had to keep asking for things like topping up our drinks, water and to order. Overall a pleasant experience.
Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The quiche was delicious and the pear and walnut salad was so nice. Coffee was amazing too. Beautiful little French inspired cafe. Easy parking, lovely atmosphere and comfortable setting would highly recommend.staff were friendly and helpful too
