They give out good free food on sundays. Heard they are connected to government and the church next to the place, planetshakers. If you are first timer, and have a stable place to stay, go here and get some nice food. You have to wait in line thou.

Empower has been a support to me in different seasons of my life. You can get delicious food and supplies during Covid, even with fewer work hours. Also, I have improved my English with the English classes that they offer to the community. All the volunteers are kind and helpful; you feel they are a family.

Empower Australia helped me when I first arrived to Melbourne, 4 years ago. My wife and I had food insecurity as a fresh international student with no English skills at all and no signs of work. The Pantry provided us with food essentials which we are so grateful today with. Now, we have seen the growth and the impact they are doing in the midst of the pandemic situation. We have been receiving food donations in the last weeks and all the people who volunteer and work there are very friendly and understanding. Thank you again for all the help you provide

Empower is a more than just another non-profit organisation in Australia.

It is a large group of passionate and well-equiped volunteers with different skill sets. They are ready and willing to address compassionate needs in the most vulnerable communities of the City.

With the mandate to Empower generations, Empower make sure every individual they cared for are being valued, they give great dignity to those thriving for their own purpose, with many different support programs such as The Pantry, a foodbank located in 6 locations in Victoria and Street Teams, feeding and impacting thousands of families every week.

Excellent service providing food and support to vulnerable people. One of the only foodbank that do not require concession cards (only ID) which is extremely helpful to people in need during these times.

I just love the way that Empower blesses the people they reach with dignity and honour. Everything they do overflows with love and kindness.
