Today the door broke and would not open
Being a Friday I was worried our cars would be locked in over the weekend however PJ came to the rescue and we were able to get the cars out.
The door will be fixed after the weekend

We have just had our new garage roller door installed. This is our second dealing with Peter and his team and we would not and do not hesitate to recommend them highly. I messaged PJ late at night. Someone replied to check if I needed immediate help with my garage door. I reassured them that I did not, I just wanted someone to contact me to make a time to visit to quote a new garage door. Pete arrived at lunch time the next day. So my request was sorted within 12 hours. Outstanding service. Pete explained everything, answered all my questions and gave me a brochure. Hopefully the rest of the process is as quick and smooth.

PJ Garage Doors have provided us with routine maintenance as well as supply and install of a replacement door for the past decade. We had used several other local companies, none of whom come close to the service provided by PJ and his staff. We would never go elsewhere. Their service/install crew turn up on time, every time. The job is done right the first time, the staff are always friendly, efficient, careful and clean up after themselves. No mess, no hassles and good prices.

All good from our perspective. Doors look great and there was np pressure.

If you want a hassle free garage door installed you have to contact Peter. Just had our garage door installed and the finished product is such good quality. They were prompt, turned up on time and it is the quietest garage door ive ever heard.

Said he could fix a door before our house was sold, then failed to give a quote even when prompted TWICE. When eventually a response was obtained by RE agent on our behalf as we had moved, PJ turned up finally gave the new owners verbal instead of us! Pretty darn rude I'd say. Apparently now it cannot be fixed either. Complete waste of everyone's time and as we are no longer resident it makes it worse to remedy. A very unpleasant experience.

Reply to Reply: Sorry, but that does not wash. The door clearly worked before it pulled the bracket off of the door. I just needed someone to fabricate a new steel arm for the one broken side so the springs could be adjusted out to increase their force using just plain old physics. Cannot guess why that was poo-pooed and a $5,000 new door was offered as a solution?

Hopefully anyone reading this will see enough in your statement saying that you did not provide a quote as you did not 'want to put your name to works that could be potentially unsafe' to get a good idea of your company ethos:

1. You did NOT inform me of that secretive decision AT ALL. Thus I had no time to find alternative options to the full door.
2. I believe your statement implies I asked for an unsafe fix whereas I asked for a fix that did not require a new $5k door. Very different requests.

My review stands.

I knew when I moved into my house that the remote control garage door needed a service. Then it wasn't closing properly, so I called PJ Garage Doors. Great service. Turned up when they said they would. Pleasant & efficient staff. I also have a roller door at the rear of the garage that was very hard, for me, to open. They fixed that too. Very reasonably priced, which was good. Would recommend this company

My Merlin garage door remote control stopped working. I called these guys and i was able to get a replacement unit very quickly so could get into my garage again. Thanks so much!
